How would you like to improve Yahoo! News home page?
Dear Yahoo! News readers,
We did make some changes to the Yahoo! News home page http://news.yahoo.com. We have heard a lot about you wanting the tabs by publishers and more news sections at the bottom half of the page. We made some changes trying to make it better and have heard all your great feedback. I believe you will see more improvement in a few weeks.
In the mean time, please let us know what else you would like on Yahoo!'s News home page?

At the very least, help us correct our actual cities we live in to see the weather for our area. Apparently there are many people complaining and have been for a loong time, but no one gives a ****. WHY USE YAHOO???

JUST GO BACK TO THE NOLD PAGE ! ! Doesn't anyone at yahoo know how to READ?
You get dozens of comments telling you to GO BACK TO THE OLD PAGE ! Yet , you still ask for specifics.

How about if all the links on the News pages work and you put back a link on each news page for the comments because they are NOT loading for the majority of Yahoo users. The news pages themselves are not fully loading and refreshing the pages does not seem to create a fully loading page. Perhaps that is why the Comments have disappeared for most of your customers. I have done everything that the folks here (on Yahoo Answers0 have mentioned; updated my browser, got a totally different browser, refreshed, dumped cookies. None of it works BUT what grinds my gears is that i have written Yahoo about 10 emails about this-none answered. Yahoo refuses to communicate about this problem although MANY folks are raising complaint. I don't get it. Why do they ignore the people who are using the web site? Without us, Yahoo is literally nothing.

Not so much the new homepage, but the 'All Stories' on the Yahoo homepage needs the option for "Open in New Tab" and "Open in New Window". It is annoying to have to click on an article and then click the back button (especially after years of closing tab after reading article!)

we can only hope the next round of improvements do not continue the downward spiral. I liked the layout of the old homepage. To me it was cleaner and much easier on the eyes, and I could navigate my way thru it. And do not tell us we just have to get used to it. this one is bulky and ugly and far from user friendly. I have used Yahoo for my homepage for years and always liked it better than anything else, but you have me considering Bing, and I do not like it. Bing is still better than this last garbage you guys put out here.

It's just flat out awful. Not only does it look childish, garish, and amateurish, it's difficult to use. Looking for a new home page.

Three things I like about the new home page? Absolutely nothing. Positively nothing. Nothing.
Three things I think would improve the new home page? Get rid of it. Go back to the old home page. Nuke it.
The only reason Yahoo! was set as my default home page was the format. It was so much better than any other home pages I had seen. Now it's the absolute worst. Why would you get rid of the biggest asset Yahoo! had??? -

Yahoo..don't you get it? Aren't you listening? We hate the new homepage. Go back to the othere one. I doubt anyone from Yahoo reads this but we'll keep trying anyway. The new page is horrible, awful, terrible and just plain sucks! Why don't you just go back to the other page. It was great and there was NOTHING wrong wih it !!!! Listen to you users for once in your life. This new page is a nightmare !!!

I also hate the new format. I hate sports, hollywood, movie stars etc. I want a choice and not have to waste time scrolling through a page full of these things. I want news, finance, world news science etc. It was so much better when it was characterized. I'm finding myself going to msn more often. I dont like the comment section, but their home page is organized and you can pick or choose where you want to be. Yahoo, if you want to keep your long time users, either give us a choice or go back to what it was. This is not working for a whole lot of people

Start with putting the old homepage back!! The new one is just HORRIBLE!! The homepage is one of the things that Yahoo didn't need to change!!
