Script not responding, on every Yahoo page except home page
I use Mac OS 10.5.8 with Camino browser, Chrome browser and Safari browser---get the same script error every time, with every article. Solution so far is to read the front page and nothing else. There's a better solution.

Please include a small map of where your news stories are taking place.
I often have to leave your site to google a map to see where stories are happening. A clickable link button would also work.

compatibility
Yahoo News IE9 Compatability View issues with topic tabs (Yahoo! News, ABC News, Assocciated Press and Reuter, Education, Mid East etc) Unable to click on the topic tabs on the different pages (News, US, World, etc). Drop downs work but topic tabs do not.
I have switched back and forth between compatability view with and without refreshing the page. They used to work a month ago, now they seldom work.

Revert to an older version of javascript (or whatever) so it doesn't require the latest ******* browser, you ******* ******* retards. Every single yahoo page i go to in the past several months results in a hang and a spinning beachball (Mac) for 30-60 secs, then a window saying "This script is taking too long..." Nor do many buttons, boxes, etc work anymore. thankx.

Better job vetting your advertisers
In today's (Jan 24) news, you're advertising a prostate treatment that promises a free sample but as soon as they get your credit card number they begin shipping monthly doses of junk at outrageous prices. The operations have US front offices but are fun from Eastern Europe through a chain of offshore links. They are in trouble with several state attorney's general. The ads have one thing in common -- they "discover" a weird old trick that works miracles -- to whiten teeth, to reduce belly fat, to cure backache, etc. They used to hide the fine print -- but…

It's not an idea. It's a complaint. When I try to access responses to my comments in a given article, these Facebook avatars drop down and the comment section drops out. I have the social part turned off, but these avatars are constantly getting in my way. Does anybody have a solution? Yahoo, I need some kind of response.

Broken Script
Firefox user here. Every function I click on in the Comments freezes for up to a whole minute then I get:
>"A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.
I have found no settings in FF Options nor in NoScript that will help me alleviate this immeasurable aggravation.
Why use these asinine scripts, anyway??? NO _good_ reason! The internet worked just fine before this JS fad started!!!! JS BLOWS!!!!! That's why NoScript came about…

Please get rid of that Pfeiffer guy
Check out this little gem: "If that indeed is the case, it’s noteworthy since Cantor is viewed as being even more ideologically opposed then the House speaker to Obama’s political agenda." What kind of an idiot uses "then" when the correct word is "than?"

In Response To Manti Te'o Catfish Story: New Service Protects Against Fake Facebook Accounts
Trying to find a contact for a new story on here is difficult. Here is the story:
Hi,
I am writing in response to the Notre Dame's Manti Te'o story of a fake (catfish) account used to inflict him harm.
Last week, I launched a beta version of my isProfileReal (CatchACatfish.com | isProfileReal.com), a service created to protect against the dangers of fake Facebook profiles. The site determines if someone is fake based on certain criteria and was built to protect against fake accounts which have resulted in suicides, murders, and heart ache.
The press release is below. Thank you…

Have Austrailian news consist of more than sports!
A subheading of world news is Australian news. However there is rarely any actual news on it, it's all sports. I'm sure someone cares about the Australian cricket scores, but to have 18 out of 19 "news" articles be Australian cricket sports reporting is ridiculous.

Health
I clicked on health and more than half of the articles were about weight loss. I mean really. There are so many health news that you could publish about and the only thing I see is weight loss. All right, these people lost 300 pounds, good for them. How about some new research about cancer, new findings about mental disease. Is weight loss the only thing America cares about?
