Chromebook Defaults to Mobile Site
On my Samsung Chromebook, sports.yahoo.com defaults to the mobile version of the site. (Curiously, www.yahoo.com doesn't default to the mobile version.) This wouldn't be a problem if I could switch the full desktop version of the site but clicking on "Desktop" merely refreshes the page, leaving me where I started with the mobile version of the site. Something's not right there....
Thanks!

BTW for a quick but not perfect fix, just google search "yahoo sports" and link up to the cached page. I can get to a few links that way, but most still redirect to mobile site

Doesn't work yet. Click on any news article on the front page, and it pull up a mobile page with no article.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only person having this problem. I did notice a few weeks ago (must have been after the first time) that it was working correctly albeit briefly. I hope this issue gets resolved. That mobile site sucks!

At least this is giving me plenty of time to find a suitable replacement for Yahoo!
It's unbelievable how long this is taking. -

This still doesn't seem to be fixed. Would you like to see the source code for why this could be happening?

This issue is still not corrected. It seems to only apply to Yahoo Sports for me.

We have an Acer Chromebook and still have the problem mentioned above, where sports.yahoo.com defaults to the mobile version and there seems to no way to get back to the regular version. Please let us know if there is anything we can do

I have issues with my chromebook. first, it would not interface properly with my TV using an HDMI cable. I eventually got it to sort of work by making the TV's display serve as the primary display (a setting you have to change). Getting this setting to work crashed Chrome several times. However, once this was done, the display for several video sites defaulted to mobile and could not be set to a size appropriate for the chromebook's display. seems like bug is still active.
