  3. Does anyone know how to remove the shaded editiorials from news photos? - You can't see the item in the article, so what's the point?

At least put a minimizing selection on the shaded areas of the news pics - otherwise, what's the point of showing the pic?

^0 year old Decorated Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Veteran Stephen Taylor of Bury, Gtr Manchester loses his dole money because he sold poppies. 7. Yahoo, are You Breaking the Trade Descriptions Act?

Yahoo, I am signed into Yahoo UK so why are my news threads focusing on the world news and issues?
My main aim is to see British news at a glance, I now have to trawl through a mountain of irrelevant stories that I have no interest in what-so-ever to access any UK news.
If you have changed to Yahoo World News could you please inform me?
When you are advertising Yahoo Uk then it should be Yahoo Uk, when you are not what it says on the box, then surely there are serious questions to be answered.

  8. Yahoo...you have 10 pages of suggestions from people who use your site & are you ever going to bother to read them, let alone fix problems?

Your site is constantly changing & becoming more impossible to use. The advertising is beyond stupid & videos don't work, not to mention pages don't load properly. You have TEN pages of customer suggestions, some of which have been listed for MONTHS.

You really need to get your act together & sort the site, as it's appalling & amateur, as it the standard of reporting. In conclusion, Yahoo is fast becoming a rubbish site.

  11. How about a proper checked use of report not lettign it be used to censor

many dont use to report feauture to report posts just with put downs. they use it to cheat to appear to be winnign the argument by removing opposing points especailly when they are backed with a strong arguemnt and evidence and reasoning. (also if they have links to proof)

This is clearly in the wrong and most of those doign this are guilty themselves or what they are reporting.

This results in somone in the right who backs their arguments solidly loosing their emila whilst the real trolls who only come to abuse others pickign out spelling, or just name…

  13. Please Censor Your Reporters

To liken people to Zombies is wholly inappropriate, I have never seen any such reporting when typhoons and floods have hit Pakistan and Bangladesh.
These people have been through ****, they have lost all worldly posessions, most only have the clothes they stand up in, they have lost friends and family, they have lost everything and no insurance policies to help rebuild their lives.
This is real life, not fiction and should be reported as such, the analogy of likening these people to Zombies is totally unacceptable, it's not headlining, it's shabby journalistc reporting.

  14. Thankyou so much for reverting to the normal yahoo email format! I found the conversation type of email format a total disaster!

Thanks for reverting to the old email format! I found the new email conversation grouping format quite user unfriendly! Google's Gmail uses the same format, which is why I hardly use that account for my email communications!

  15. Make the new email more like the old email, where you could for example have multiple emails open on tabs.

Allow users to manage multiple emails at once by having tabs.
Have easy disposable emails and folders created for there reply's made more automatic and easy. Sick of not being able to redirect some emails to the folder I want when they come in.

  16. "Report Abuse" confirmation option.

It should be a requirement to confirm your actions if you click on the "Report Abuse" in the comments section. I have on more than one occasion, managed to click on this accidentally and reported a perfectly acceptable comment as abuse. It needs a "do you want to report this comment?" dialogue pop up for confirmation. I am sure I am not the only person to do this, and it will happen more frequently as more people move to touch screens and press it while scrolling down the page.

  18. Just have the courtesy to put on your site why the comments button is not working

Just have the courtesy to to put on your site why the personal comment button is not working. It has been like it for days. When it comes to keeping customers informed, Yahoo is hopeless.

  19. Improve the quality of journalism

Yahoo really needs to improve the quality of its staff journalism, the fact that Sky News are poor isn't an excuse. Yahoo should proof read all articles before publication for accuracy, correct spelling, good grammar, proper use of language and higher quality content, all of these points are especially important as younger readers see bad spelling, grammar and content as a model for their own work. In general, the quality of Internet journalism is highly questionable and leads me to suspect that many so called "internet journalists" are either untrained, unqualified or just rank amateurs who would never secure and…
