Comments.
Yahoo has had this notice on it's news feeds for a long time now. 'Our goal is to create a safe and engaging place for users to connect over interests and passions. In order to improve our community experience, we are temporarily suspending article commenting'. This is clearly untrue as it has been policy for a very long time. I personally know two people who have left Yahoo because of it. Why ? Simply because they said it was a prime example of 'Facebook' style censorship, which they and many others have also left. May I suggest that something is…

Ability to comment on important items limited by a political ideology?
I often cast my vote regarding a variety of news items but I note (unfortunately) there is never the opportunity to vote on very few (if any) transgender issues. This is something that is clearly omitted from all news items by design and I wonder if that is because the results may (and probably would) not correspond with Yahoos media (woke) ideologues?
For example:
Do you agree there are more than 2 genders? I predict the result will be something like: 96=no, 4=yesIs Yahoo media scared of what the results of the people might actually show?

Stop patronizing your viewers while making money off of them by suspending comments on any news story of importance.
I think people should be able to post their viewpoints on stories of importance instead of feeling patronized by an organization which is making money off of them. I do not support threats or hate speech, but if you are going to post a news story, either let people speak, or drop comments altogether. I guess we can only comment on unimportant "safe" stories. What is the point in that?

Please educate your reporters. Charles is NOT King of England, the title does not exist.
Why does Yahoo insist on allowing our friends across the pond to get it wrong every single time? There was no recent Queen of England, and there is no King of England. I know it is done for ease, as those across the pond just do not understand, just like TV's The Crown got it wrong all the time, as it catered for a US audience. Enough is enough. If you are going to report items, then get it right.

Bring back news article comments,
The reason you have banned not suspended news article comments is because the articles were so left wing biased from either the telegraph or the independent!!!(joke name) that people decided enough was enough and in the massive majority of comments disagreed with them, so like all supposedly lefty liberal forums when the majority disagree with you, you ban them.

Your article "Rainy Day Blues" is missing a key researcher's name.
Instead of "Together with researchers at the University of Lucerne in Switzerland"
it should be: "Together with Prof. Leif Brandes at the University of Lucerne in Switzerland"And if you can add a link to the paper that would be grand:

Please stop stifling debate and freedom of speech and restart comments as this was supposed to be only a temporary pause.
Reinstate comments, but remove people's accounts if their comments are racist, homophobic, heterophobic, abusive, threatening, or contain foul language but please don't stifle debate, debate makes life interesting, makes one feel less lonely and reduces boredom. We all deserve to have a voice.

Living in Great Britain, I resent the withdrawal of a U.K. News option. Kindly re-instate.
It was originally the initiative of 'Yahoo News' itself, to offer the option of a 'U.K. news channel'. In the recent chaotic revamp of news and editorial content, that choice has now been removed. It was never perfect, with many uninteresting reports about some remote and unheard of place in the States, still rather annoyingly filtering through.

Royal Executive Editor
Omid Scobie is very biased, and worse, a bit of an online bully. I cannot believe you hired him into this role. As a non-Brit who watched much of the Jubilee, I am not sure what he was watching, but it wasn't the same event.
