Same as everyone else, the new format sucks. Plus comments never load anymore.
Get rid of the awful people in the videos. They are not funny. I want to see a story, not some lame wanna be comedian tell dumb jokes during it.

Please can someone can realized we don't like this new version ??? what about the french poeple we can't get back our old version and send an e.mail it's a real pin in the butt there is no select all box we have to find the full adress and click the box !!! is the creator of that hate yahoo and all the user to make that change ....it's crazy and i think i will close my account

Get rid of the flashing ads for computer problems
I know that ads are necessary, but those flashing ads about my computer crashing or my drivers being out of date are so distracting that I just close the page when I get one. And they are obviously fake and misleading, casting a shadow on Yahoo as a whole.

Test the site
Please test the pages before it goes live. Nearly every article that involves a video has some written content cutoff. Example: the article I was reading was about the orphaned black bear cubs but the video area was too large and cut off a few sentences.
On another note- why do you use annoying hosts on videos hosted by yahoo? They are not witty nor funny. They come across as obnoxious and dumb. Who is your target market- Teens? I doubt they would enjoy that. I can't see any demographic actually enjoying it.186th ranked -

Get rid of CEO Marissa Mayer - she is killing Yahoo, if it isn't already dead. Just look at ALL of the complaints. The new format is turning people away. A sure way to kill a business is to turn off the consumers.

Black is the best color for font online. Get rid of the see through news box, it just impairs my vision and distracts me from news I want to read. So many other news pages, I will close my eyes and pick a new one.

I live in the East, so why do I still have news from all regions, when I pick the Atlantic category? Maybe you could add Saint John NB?:-)

Could you either eliminate all the other news regions, when you pick a "general" region like the Atlantic, or allow for customization of the Web page, so that I could take out all areas but mine? If I want all news, I can pick that if I need to, but I want the ability to customize my Rogers Yahoo! web page with as close to my Local news as possible. Get rid of Key-board shortcuts for your News-Videos.
Nothing is more annoying than trying to type out a thoughtful comment only to have the page refresh your comment to non-existance just because you pressed "Shift+whatever". If I want to see the aweful video, I can click the play button.. Quit inhibiting my typing by the most non-intuitive and disruptive system I have ever seen in place.
