Don't use black type on top of photos, and get Dr Oz out of my inbox, he is obscene, if you have to put him there, give us an x to remove h
I like to read the captions on the photos, and my inbox is sacred to me, Dr Oz is obscene, and you don't need advertising bars at the top of my inbox. The advert bar to the right I can live with. least I can x it off. Do you think young children don't see these half naked fully fat people how dillusioned they must be, that is shameful.

I think Mr. Andy Radia who writes for your Canadian politics section should be publicly disciplined for his latest article on David Suzuki.
Mr. Radia incorrectly stated that David Suzuki's parents weren't born in Canada - when in fact they were. More importantly, the manner in which he stated it was offensive to every Asian-Canadian. That "of course-David Suzuki's parents weren't born in Canada". Without any other reference or supporting point one can only infer that due to Suzuki's heritage he couldn't be a third-generation Canadian. This is completely offensive. Mr. Radia should at the very least apologize for this egregious error and explain what he meant by "of course".

I am in Canada trying to reach the US version of Yahoo news. Seems to be impossible.
Make it easy to link from Yahoo Canada to another country's site (see Huffington Post or MSN...)
(And go Ms Mayer! Started using yahoo as I support the moves you are making)

ICBC
I have a suggestion to ask if ICBC (Insurance Corporation of British Columbia) should be privatized. Consumers need a choice and private insurance would mean lower rates. ICBC has a monopoly.
The B.C. provincial government will reap the benefits of an estimated $778 million in surplus income from the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia in the next three years, money that some critics say should go back into drivers' pockets.

today: "Cory Monteith's tragic death (...) on Saturday surprised, saddened and wondering..."; could add "and left us wondering...."
Terrible grammar today: "Cory Monteith's tragic death in his Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel room in Vancouver on Saturday surprised, saddened and wondering what the new season of "Glee" will look like without him."
Could be "and left us wondering". Just thought I'd point out what an editor missed. Thank you.186th ranked -
Hello--please fix the website code on your news articles.
When I try to click the "print" link it always jumps away from my pointer 2-3 times and won't let me click until then.
Thanks!

You need to parse ypur news stories better. Go to the Latin America section and there are stories about the NFL. The whole thing is a mess.

Spelling and Grammar
Hello Yahoo Canada News team.
I really enjoy the Yahoo News feature that came with my Galaxy S III, I use it almost everyday.
But, on more then one occasion there have been misspelled words or the lack of a word where one should be, it's kind of annoying.
I would never think that Yahoo News whether in Canada or the US would want be associated with high-school writing. Sorry to be so sharp, but it is my observation.

Your capitioning text should be in white, not black, which is really difficult to read.
The descripition is in the text, above. Please change your captioning text for your news links to white. It will be far easier to read. Nuff said. P.J.

Comments not showing on iPad
I like reading and occasionally contributing to reader comments on yahoo news stories ... But many times they won't show on the tablet version of yahoo news. Also, i cant zoom in on small text on the tablet version. clicking "show desktop version" doesn't work. Maybe let tablet owners view the regular HTML version since the tablet version sucks?

RE: "Accused Cleveland kidnapper Ariel Castro pleads guilty, avoids the death penalty", by Matthew Coutts/Daily Brew
A news service of Yahoo's calibre should be be able to avoid basic errors such as the "captor" vs. "captive" inconsistencies in this article.
