Go back to the old white screen. The new look is difficult to read.
The new screen look is too difficult to read. A plain white page is much easier on the eyes. The new colors blend together too much. Go back to the old look.
In http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/ the stats and details are blurred due to the background picture. I cannot see the stats, words numbers very well. Can you go back to the simple white? Fantasy football stat analysis use case demands analysis, thought and concentration on behalf of the user (like handicapping). The background prevents this process as the busy graphics make it difficult to scrutinize the data. I have been a yahoo sports user (& Fantasy Football) for 10 years and I may have to find another provider (ESPN, CBS Sports etc) for the 2013 football year.
Please go back to the old format for Fantasy Football...the new format is horrible for both research and reading as it is way too dark...
Please go back to the old white screen.
This new design/background is really awful. Nothing but complaints in my league.
It is incredibly difficult to see what is going on with the new background. Did anyone even look at how terrible this looks before implementation?
Don't change it, you were doing so well for the past 10 years. We are all meat head football fans and we don't need change....if this was a fashion site then yes I can understand but its beer drinking men are who like simplicity.
Been a Yahoo member since '00. I defend Yahoo to anyone who uses other fantasy sites that Yahoo is hands down the best. This new version? I'd rather go back to when I started playing FF in the 90s and write down our lineups on looseleaf and do the scores by hand.
go back to the original white screen. this one is to difficult to read and see......
this new screen sucks. it's ****** to view and navigate. Atleast give us an option.
The change into the black background is confusing to pull stats from the page. I personally do not like the change and it makes things difficult to read. If a color option was placed onto the page that would allow color change, or at least white/black on/off type option it would solve the problem. It would also allow Yahoo developers to see what color is most used by the yahoo users. Future changes could be based on user preference of color.
Change back this sucks
The new background makes me vomit. That's how bad it is. Change it back.
Go back to the old white screen. The black one is almost impossible to read.
Give us the option or change it back to its original format
Go back to the old screen!
allow people to choose their background theme. the basic white should always be an option. blue/green translucent is OBVIOUSLY difficult to read.
The old format was fine, This new format isn't even aesthetically pleasing.
What the **** were you thinking implementing this change??? It is terrible. People want functionality. Whoever thought this was a good idea does not deserve to draw salary from Yahoo.
The background used to be light or white. Now it's dark or black. Make it lighter so I can print my team roster.
The new 'stadium' background just makes it ****** to focus and if you have to spend some time looks at your stats this gets to be a GIANT PAIN, please this new one is ******* stupid!!!!! why would you even do that!!!!! why, is it because it boring NOT having a headache, it doesnt look godd, its not fun, its ONLY ******* stupid!!!!
we absolutely hate the new fantasy football format. What kind of an idiot decided to change your superior product into a joke. It is impossible to quickly view stats now. The insane blurry football field is so annoying. Fire the art director that decided to ruin the best fantasy football product.
Hate the new format of yahoo. We are moving the league to another site. You can't see anything. You just changed it from a facebook clean look to a stupid myspace look. We know who won that format battle. It's a fact that black lettering on a white background is the easiest for the eye to comprehend. Why would you change to white lettering on a blurry field background? It sucks hard
change it back
Go back to other template. If it isn't broken, why try an fix it?
The dark screen is hard to read...and I can't imagine that anyone likes it
Pale, grey text on black background? I don't think so. You can hardly read the stats on your players. PLEASE go back to the way it was. If it works, don't fix it - ever hear of that one? To boot, the new look for fantasy football is both depressing and boring. What we used to have was fine.
I just went to check my league so I can start getting ready for a draft on Sunday and I can't read anything because of your dumb new background that apparently nobody actually tested out.
Just make the background a solid color. I feel like my glasses aren't working right.
All I see is negative feedback on the new setup of your fantasy football page. I agree with every comment I have read. Page is more difficult to read and it is not a step forward. Maybe Yahoo should have done a trial run before you put money into a non user friendly page.
new look is terrible, takes forever to load, runs choppy.
Smart move waiting until people already drafted in their fantasy football leagues before adorning them with the vomitorium that is the "new look" of Yahoo! Sports. Now my league has to decide whether the convulsive eye sore is so bad that we have to switch to another site.
PS: There is such a thing as audience testing, I suggest you make use of it.
The new black and neon page is really hard to read. This needs to be returned to black/colors on white background. This is not user friendly. It also is discrimination against people who can't read it now. I've been playing for about 10 years and I'm very disappointed. I will have to find another site.
lousy choice, in format change in all areas...yahoo's grade F.
New Sports page is terrible. White background was much better.
Yahoo baseball was perfect before. Yahoo used to be so clean and easy on the eyes. just terrible now.
I have to agree. The Sports page is truly awful. Bloated and slow to view. I actually had switched over to Yahoo's Canadian Sports web site during this NBA season as it had retained the older format. But apparently the Canadian site switched over in the past day or so, so now I am using ESPN for my sports scores.
If this doesn't change soon I will stop using yahoo because of this stupid new design....
Please change it back. I hate to check my email now. It's hard to read, hard to find what you need, hard to delete old email. Shouldn't we have a choice in what our email screen looks like???
It's not just the format, it's the lack of navigation now on the pages. If you are a Yahoo user and you are logged in there is no menu on the top that allows you to navigate between sports. And when you eventually stumble onto a sport, you can't view the sub-nav links like view teams, standings, rankings, scores, etc....
Why in the world would you change a perfectly good format? I will be checking out other formats if it is not changed back. And I see I am not alone.
You took a perfectly good format and now I can't find $hit.
Who is the idiot that changed the format? I can't navigate easily like I could before. I am already looking for another sports page---ESPN?---so change it back. Now.

I can't seem to use my computer with the new screen let alone see it
Why exactly did they scrap the old format?

Take a tip from Amazon's KINDLE. Readers want and NEED black text on very white background! Are you listening????
New format is awful. I'm going elsewhere for my sports news.
There is an option for a white background, but it's still a far cry from the old GOOD format.
The old format is back! It is about time!
Whoever is doing the rearranging should get a new job! What happened to public opinion surveys before changes are made? Go back to black lettering and white background...you can't read the emails!!! I hate it.....switching to another email service, no questions.
White on black text is, quite literally, agonizing for people with visual problems or migraines. I can't read web sites or look at blogs designed this way, and I know of many other people who have the same problem.
Some of my Adobe software uses a dark interface with lighter text. I don't like it, but it is legible and not particularly painful because they don't use an extreme white/black contrast. It's more shades of gray. Also, the software is only designed for looking at small commands and menu items, not reading extended bodies of text in the form of comments.
It's a basic principle of decent web design that extended texts (more than a menu button) should never be white on black. It's too difficult for *anyone* to read.
The new format is TERRIBLE!!! Go back to the old format!
Oh Yahoo, how I wish I could be participating in your Pro basketball leagues this year, and that I didn't have to move my own commissioned league to ESPN for the first time in 8 years. However, not only do I absolutely despise the new format, the fact that you are sticking to your new format strictly out of principle now that you have seen the tremendous backlash to your change, I refuse to play on Yahoo now out of principle. No money, no participation, and no page views from me and my leagues anymore.
Back me to Old Version
