Hi, please let us know how we can improve further.

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".
(thinking…)

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

  1. Put the commission back would be nice.

I really miss the old entry form since I could put a buying commission on every transaction but now I couldn't find it. I've downloaded my portfolio & I found the commission data I've entered in the previous version are still there but for the new entry after using the new version is blank.

  5. Incorrect Dates in Historical Data

    Hi Yahoo,

I have downloaded 5 years of historical data for 2 Australian stocks and found that both have price data for Sunday 3 January 2016 but not Friday 8 Jan. This error of Sunday data goes back quite some time. It seems to correct at the beginning of April 2016. The stocks are ANZ.AX and RFG.AX.

I tried US stock SU. This seemed OK.

New Zealand stock ABA.NZ has historical price data for Sunday 7 May 2017. The on screen dates appear to be correct.

  10. While I am in feedback mode, here are some "nice to haves" that you might want to add next time.

Would be really nice to have the following feature, the ability to copy an entire portfolio, I often run simulated studies and get tired of having to recreate all the holdings.

My dream wish….Could you make the “total” of a portfolio charted, as in a real time chart as all stocks and currencies are currently doing. This would make my life a lot easier and avoid me doing a lot of power query, dde and macro work.

These functions would add value rather than just another reformat of a page view.

    Thanks

  11. You have a lot of problems with new finance views (if you haven't already worked that out). Here are a few of my choice issues.

    1. You have changed the way of simply looking at a currency. EG, previously I would display HKDHKD=x, this would then allow me to enter in an amount of HKD I have in cash, now you seem to have replaced this with hkdusd=x, which is not the same. This also applies to USDUSD=x, has now been replaced with usd=x. You are now taking everything in reference to USD. Very confusing.
    2. View on my desktop and mobile device is now different, as mobile device still works as original format?
    3. No longer able to select default view I want individual…

  12. On the "NEW" finance site, how do I turn OFF streaming ??????? Not everyone has unlimited download quota.

On the "NEW" finance site, how do I turn OFF streaming ??????? Not everyone has unlimited download quota. If I can't turn off streaming my only option is to shut down the web page. If I can disable streaming, I only need to refresh the page when required.

    Hi John,

Thanks for your feedback. When you refer to streaming, do you mean video’s that autoplay? Where are you experiencing this issue on our site?

    Thanks,

  15. On your improved interactive chart of the Dow Jones when you want to set your custom settings for the date range it is extremely laborious.

On your improved chart of the Dow Jones when you want to set your custom settings for the date range it is extremely laborious. You have to click through every month to go back to say 1995 and show the range from 1/1/1995 to 7/4/2017. Before you changed it you could just enter the date in of 1/1/1995 and hey presto up came the interactive chart. Now it takes about 264 clicks! Please can you make the custom date range setting interactive?
It also does not show the year along the bottom so you have to guess. Can that be…

  19. TGG Chart needs a haircut!

A 3 month view of the TGG.AX chart shows some curious spikes. Closer examination shows these coincide with public holidays. For instance, the share price supposedly shot up from $1.25 to $1.41 on Australia Day - with zero volume! What is going on?

  20. Australian Stock Data

Does Yahoo Finance get stock data for both the ASX and ChiX exchanges in its feed from the ASX? I noticed that some data is missing on Yahoo eg PNW.AX on 17/2/2017 has zero volume, however my brokers' data shows 2613 for the day @ 0.37. The ASX provides data from both exchanges to my broker and data provider.
