Industry analysis
I would like to be able to analyse the past four years of revenue and net income for entire sectors and industries, however, the only way to achieve this currently is to manually copy and paste revenue and net income from individual companies into excel and add them together. As Yahoo has all this data already, it seems like a small step to add this feature. Being able to analyse the total revenue attracted by individual industries is essential in top down analysis yet is extremely hard information to gather.

select>copy>select>paste ,…

You could improve by providing value of all shares in a portfolio.
I have 500000 shares with a cost basis of $0.001 which is $500.00 but that amount does not show in portfolio value any longer. It used to but in the past month by clicking of the holding it would appear no longer. Those interested why someone would buy low value shares ---- I am playing the long game this company produces Solar Panels with a subsidiary that installs panels. Previously bought 100000 shares in a company that mines lithium at $0.005 now trading at $0.245 each. Small outlay which is sustainable if things go pear shape but as evidenced a…

Another typo (?)
At end of article "About Britannica etc."
Did you mean band or should it be brand?
"The Encyclopaedia Britannica band has a 250-year history,..." -
Typo in Article
If you care, please fix typo in the NetDragon and Encyclopaedia Britannica article. The word cooperation is spelled wrong in two instances. You have coopration. Just sayin!

Australia is cool and all
Why in the world am I on the Australia finance page? I've never been to the country, I've never logged into the Aussie Yahoo.
But yet, every time I click on Finance, here I am.
I tried everything in my power to change to no avail. -
