Delineating text in an email reply
Other email programs, e.g. msn.com, place a blue vertical line when someone replies to you so you can then see what you said. When the person replies by putting the cursor where desired and hitting enter a clear space emerges for their reply. Yahoo does not have this feature. It would make long back and forth emails easier to follow.

Please bring back the comment section.
Every day I turn on Yahoo! and look to see if the comment section has been reinstated. Every day I'm disappointed. Please bring back the comment section.

Import/export emails
It would be very helpful if I could import and export emails without having to do it one by one, between old and new accounts using different servers, as well as yahoo.

I've yahoo'd since SIU 93
I knew how to use a search engine and Rend Lake College had one in 2000 to 2002 and I searched faculty directory, which I caught criticism as a recent student a couple years later for being able to email some, with reference to a stack of emails. Did they sidetrack student's expression by using search engines?

Please bring back the comments section! I know some comments hurt other peoples feelings, too bad?
Please bring back the comments section. Most of the time the comments were better than the article. When you have political articles, you will get political comments.

Some way to apply for read-r and read-w scopes for email client developers
As a desktop email client developer, I'd like to support OAuth2 for Yahoo IMAP, but apparently there is no way to get permission for the scopes needed for this. Given that a client id cannot be kept as a secret on desktop machines (for other email clients) then it doesn't make much sense to not allow this. It's just security by obscurity and you risk that email clients borrow client ids from other email clients (I'll naturally not do that).
This is where a note about how to apply would be a nice addition: https://developer.yahoo.com/oauth2/guide/yahoo_scopes/

Bring back comments on new articles.
Not sure why you took this away. It was the one place you could voice your opinion on subject matter. Not sure how much longer I will be using yahoo if you don't bring it back.

Return the Comment section! - the, by far, most interesting part of most stories.
2 suggestions: 1- return to the best part of the Yahoo stories, the comment section! 2- the new "news" layout is TOTALLY worthless with all different subjects mixed together. I used to read Yahoo news every day, but am now looking for more informative web pages.

Please Help - E40000_INVALID_INPUT with a message of [MISSING_ADDRESS]
Hello, we are trying to use the #verizonMediaApi in order to create ads and send offline event data. We attempted to establish a sandbox environment to create an advertiser and begin sending events and we have hit a wall.
We have gone through all of the proper steps to create credentials and gain access to the API, but when we send a POST request to 'http://sandbox-api.gemini.yahoo.com/v3/rest/advertisersignup' to create our first advertiser, we get the following error message:
{
"errIndex": -1,
"code": "E40000_INVALID_INPUT",
"message": "[MISSING_ADDRESS]",
"description": ""
}After reviewing the documentation, we could not find any mention of…
