My current location is wrong!
Showing my current location as 120 miles from my actual location, it is really irritating, since I would love my map center to start in my town, not far away.
You should make it so we can manually move or reprogram our true city locale, only by clicking a button typing a city or by moving the location point on my map.

Yahoo should assume that actual human beings will always know better where they are than any automated system they can invent.

The "current location" feature, which is based on ip address, may be fine for mobile devices, but it's all wrong for immobile devices like my desktop computer, and not even very good for laptops, because it's so often all wrong. My "current location" is fifty miles from my actual current location. I should be free to tell Yahoo Maps to ignore my ip address and use my default location. What's the point of calling it the "default" location if it's not chosen by default?
It's fine to improve suport for mobile devices, but this shouldn't come at the expense of immobile devices.

I am having the same problem. Map's wont let me move my home location to the correct location. What it used is a half a state away. It is very irritating. Hope yahoo has the correct answer for us.

My locations is wrong too. You publish a map right next to my business ad showing my location in downtown Wilmington no where near my actual location AND CUSTOMERS ARE CALLING ME FROM OUT OF MY SERVICE AREA. Any chance I can get it fixed or talk to a human who can do it??
