Don't label "entertainment news" as "news"
Let me have a way to get rid of "entertainment news" from the "news" category.
When you push the X to say you want less of these, give an option to fill in a blank to eliminate a specific subject. Example, I never want to see article featuring "The View". I never want to see articles where Actors (people whose profession in life is to play roles, i.e. Lie) give their political opinion.
Maybe some people don't want any "sports news" in their news or don't want any "science news".
Whatever, I want to be able to eliminate certain subject…

I downloaded the app and I am not sure what region I receive news for. There is no option to choose countries/regions?

The app needs an overhaul.
Allow users to keep track of their posts via their yahoo account. Additionally, provide more: (1) newsworthy that are less opinionated; (2) cover hot button issues such as race from a more neutral position rather than that of a firestorm such as by reporting both sides of one story in a special edition; (3) right now, Yahoo News feels like it is making the effort to be more fluid and failing miserably, when looking at political news we're not all together interested in the attire of the president's daughter's or who is crushing on whom unless it relates to the…

Can not read local news
Why can't I read all the stories I want in the Baltimore area my home town with out being told I only can read 3 stories a month and then I need to subscribe $.99 to read more.

Do not like seeing articles in Spanish. Spanish speakers have many news sites in their native tongue! If I wanted to read news in Spanish I'd go there!
