  3. Since yahoo will not let us post comments here we go

    Good Morning America wrote
Police officer shot in face and head by shoplifting suspect at department store. The officer was shot by an black male who refused to comply. The head lines make no indication that the suspect was black. But if the officer had shot him the headlines would have read white officer shoots black male.

  4. Still one sided and no free speech on Yahoo

Why not allow comments so you know what the people actually think? The Election is over, communist thinking won, so why still the limits on free expression and ideas?

  8. Why have you taken the comments away?

What has it been for months that you "Our goal is to create a safe and engaging place for users to connect over interests and passions. In order to improve our community experience, we are temporarily suspending article commenting." I know this is censorship. Who specifically can I talk to to get this changed?

  9. By not censoring my ability to comment on Yahoo news articles or video content

How does not allowing Yahoo users to comment on "news" articles or video content that state opinion rather than facts improve discourse in this very divided nation. By stifling the voice of opposition to the "approved" narrative that is obvious to all conservatives, you are creating more "radical" feelings. Your disclaimer "Our goal is to create a safe and engaging place for users to connect over interests and passions. In order to improve our community experience, we are temporarily suspending article commenting" does not improve the experience. It simply silences the free exchange of alternate view points.

  10. Put Back ALL Comments Sections

We don't need Yahoo News to try to make us "safe" by not having comments sections after articles. I surely don't feel "safe" when my 1st amendment rights are stolen from me.

  11. you are lumping UK news with US news. Not interested in local UK news, and I am sure vice versa. Please give me an option to op out.

You are lumping UK news with US news. Not interested in local UK news, and I am sure vice versa. Please give me an option to op out. I am English speaking, but that does not automatically mean I want all English speaking countries as my news source. I want ability to pick and choose in my profile.

  13. News feeds don't update.

I've had CNN News and NBC news on My Yahoo homepage, but the headlines/stories listed haven't changed. The news isn't current. Please check on this.

  15. Please give your readers more options in customizing the news feed.

I would like to get rid of the "Celebrity" topic but there is no way to do it. Right now you give people "See less from" option regarding the source but not the theme.

  17. Stop with so much UK news and the Royals. Who cares about them.

I doubt most yahoo news readers dwell on the UK and Royal news. Same for Kardashians. Do those celebrities have lots of Yahoo stock?

  18. How about making the comments and responses section available...

Every other news or feature site has a comments and response section available to readers at the end of the article...can't seem to access one on Yahoo News...

  19. New format is forcing users away

I'll be switching to a new source of years after over a decade reading it on yahoo. I have dealt with many format changes but this one is the worst of many bad ideas that have hindered the user experience over the years.

    • No longer a way to see a list of top stories. Instead you get 4-5 stories under each category, forcing you to check each category individually rather than a ready list of top stories from each being presented.
    • New design is not for readers. The new design is a picture book of huge pictures and (sometimes misleading)…

  20. PLEASE STOP POSTING SPOILERS REGARDING THE MASKED SINGER.

You post a picture of the latest contestant voted out of Masked Singer on the mail news feed. You don't actually name the person, but the picture of the character is enough. Put the show's logo on there & say "Latest contestant voted off Masked Singer" or something. Stop with the spoilers.
