News Feed Flips in my face
STOP updating news feeds while I am trying to read a story! I loose the story I am reading, every time, and get some unwanted story in it's place. I feel you are dictating what I read. I WILL find another news feed if this continues.

How about showing the comments people get instead of wanting Yahoo to send breaking news to mu desk top that I don't want there.
How about alerting when you get a response to a comment instead of an alert from Yahoo wanting to send Breaking news to my desk top that I don't want there

Stop showing the same trivial notifications repeatedly for 6+ months!
I commented on an opinion article last January and Yahoo Notifications keeps including a troll's response to my post as if it is something important that I need to be reminded of 100+ times. It is not! Please stop showing old and worthless information in my Notifications Yahoo! Thank you.

Stop posting nothing but negative stories about pittbulls. It's the owners
STOP with all the negative stories about pittbulls. It is the owners, not the dogs that are the problem. If you own a breed know for aggression(pitts are NOT the only ones) you have to be more responsible, especially in public. People put the dogs in those situations where attacks happened. The dogs did not choose it themselves. STOP helping to give the breed a bad name. Admonish the owners for a change.

Customize feeds
Let us be able to customize our feeds again, let us be able to block people and topics we feel inappropriate for us so we don't have to see all types of rude, negative, closeminded and blatantly racist comments on a post

Create a news aggregator with a news map or news timeline showing how a story has transitioned to current state
Create a news bot that aggregates ranked relevant news from keywords of the article and/or creates a timeline
Examples could be: Following events of a presidency, all speeches by a person, developments of a case, domestic or international response and views on a global issue like climate change or a developing peace accord. Any news or situation that transitions over time should be mapped.1016th ranked -

Your on-top news articles are annoying.
When I click on a news article I get a yahoo page with the article on that page in a sort of "box" with an "X" at the top-right. I don't see the purpose in this. Why not have the page be the article? Let's say I go to another screen and want to return focus to the browser with your news article on it. If I click on any area outside that "box" the article disappears and I'm looking at a news page. I can't tell you how annoying this is. Please just give me a page that is…

Quit having me click twice or more!
When I click an article to read, I don't want to have to click another link to 'read more'. Why do you think I clicked the link in the first place, to hopefully have to click more links? I immediately leave the page and never look back. Same with a full page ad, I just close the browser window and move on. If you want readers to stay on your site maybe you could make it easier without the annoyance of redundant clicking.

Yahoo News leaning left
Under current Yahoo leadership I have witnessed a distinct tilt to the left in reporting, story selection. It is imperative that your news pages reflect a unbiased and balanced reportage. At the moment they do not! You have strayed from the tenets of journalism in favor of endorsing a left leaning ideology. As a long time Yahoo fan I am disappointed. You have taken sides and are now alienating over one half of the US population. Big mistake.

I want to READ articles, NOT WATCH videos
I click on articles to READ them NOT WATCH them. I am sick of clicking on a text headline online to be taken to a video. If you offer it in video, offer it in text too!! If I click on a headline and it takes me to a video I immediately close it.

Sponsored "articles" are ruining my Yahoo experience.
I have been a faithful Yahoo user since the 90s. One used to be able to find the account date in account information, but that seems to have moved, I know my account dates back to at least 1998 and I have been on Yahoo daily since that time.
I used to spend time browsing headlines and clicking through to read many articles from your home page. However since the inception of sponsored content, I avoid the Yahoo home page.
I understand the need to generate profit but when every other "article" listed on the home page is in fact…

Stop showing disgusting images of child abuse!!
My heart sinks when you have so many - too many! - stories about child abuse. child left in hot car, child drowned in pool, family killed by dad - IS THIS NEWS?? It's sad and tragic, but it pains me to be inundated with these depressing stories. (btw: please kill your kardashian stories - they are meaningless people)...

Less articles about children being abused
Please post less news articles about children being physically and/or sexually abused. I can't browse Yahoo News without seeing disturbing headlines involving children. It's traumatizing even for your readers to hear these stories.

Stop Animal Cruelty stories
Please STOP with these horrible animal cruelty stories on your front page each day!!!! I literally get sick seeing "Dog dragged behind van" and "Dog's mouth taped shut." Let the cops and local authorities handle these things. You are giving animal abusers ideas and attention.
Please stop!52nd ranked -
Stop autoplaying videos on the Yahoo News home page
I see a lot of complaints about videos autoplaying when news articles are opened. That's annoying because it is unnessarily chewing up bandwidth. Recently when I first go to the Yahoo news home page, a video autoplays on the upper right side of the screen. I find this extremely annoying. I've used Yahoo News as my primary online news source for at least 12 years and now I think I need to look at less intrusive alternatives.

Stop embedding sponsored links to look like real news.
Yahoo used to have a well organized news section. Now it's a joke.
