Bot said my comment violated ToS
Following is a comment I tried to make in a Yahoo News article, but was instantly rejected, clearly, by a 'bot, since no human could have responded that quickly, even if they were "watching" as I typed! How did it violate ToS? I thought it was the word "bomb," but, I changed it to "appeared," and still got rejected (in case you're wondering, when I finish writing a comment, I always copy-paste to a text file on my computer, which has been a godsend when the comment fails to be submitted for whatever reason, including website bugs, server crash, etc.,…

Comment censoring needs to end now! Your claims of wanting to provide a safe and engaging place for users to connect is absolute crap!!
Here's an idea. Stop being little immature children scared of people's thoughts and opinions and TURN COMMENTING BACK ON. Trolls are trolls, it's a fact of life. Real people grow some thicker skin and ignore them. Turning off comments because you're afraid of what they might say is the COWARD'S WAY OUT.

Just keep posting negative Trump articles. No need to post anything about the ********* currently occupying the Whitehouse.
No need to post anything about the ********* currently occupying the Whitehouse. If I didn't play Yahoo Fantasy Sports I'd have been gone long ago.

Tell both sides of the story
Your news is so one sided and liberal. Yahoo used to be my "go to" quick click for news. But your feed is so one sided and liberal. You are on the wrong side of the news everyday. Your constantly bowing down the left is sickening. Your story about CRT was the ender for me. I have kids and don't want my kids taught this racism and white shame. CRT is nothing more than the lefts way of race baiting and continuing a divide in this country that we don't need. Goodbye Yahoo....get woke and go broke.

Enough of the "Washington Examiner", National Review, Fox, It's just NOT news
This is exactly what the crazy GOP wants. Tell lies long enough and the people will question reality. Do you really want to be responsible for more division and , yes, VIOLENCE. When I studied Journalism we knew the concept of responsibility. Seems your "editors" either never learned or just don't care.

"Video shows officer place knee in Pelicans center Jaxson Hayes’ neck, tase him during arrest" video shows him resisting, pushing an officer into the wall. What people do not understand if you can speak the words "I cannot breath" means you can actually breath and in hale in order to speak the word and your airway is clear. What people also do not understand if you refuse/prevent to give the officers you wrists so they can place the handcuffs on you, then you are resisting. Here is a word that a certain culture does not understand "COMPLY". if everyone did…

Please do not repeat news items. Sometimes you have the same the same news items listed three different times!
When I call up yahoo news, I expect to scroll down for the news items I want to read. However, often you list the same news item several times, which is very aggravating, as it takes forever to scroll through all the duplicate listings!

You need to bring back the feedback on your site. Really, it was the #1 feature that I enjoyed on your site. Having a place to be able to have a discussion with all sides was the reason I came to your site. Now, eh.

Have the show less functionality actually work.
Despite clicking on the "Show Less" link for sites, they show up in my news feed anyway. Not just a few stories either. That functionality needs some fixing.

ARTICLE COMMENTS
I can appreciate your reasoning for stopping your Yahoo members from entering comments .. But what I would like to see is a Thumbs up & a Thumbs down. This would serve two purposes: 1. ) It would allow the readers to judge where their perception (opinions) are in regard to other readers; and 2. ) It would allow the author/journalist to judge how her/his efforts are received by the readers. The thumbs up/Thumbs down would take up very little memory and not require an extensive amount of coding.
