Do not Keep up articles where “commenting has ended.”
If “commenting has been ended” on an article, there is no reason for the article to remain up, or, most egregiously, reposted with the current date. I was preparing to comment on an article with the dateline of today (1/1/24), when I saw that commenting had somehow already ended. Looking at the comments, they were from 3 weeks prior. How does commenting end 3 weeks before an article is posted? If an article is worth reposting, the public has the right to determine if it is still worth commenting on. fix the broken comment section already. the blurb is still there showing number of comments. it says show comments at end of article.
a lot of people are not able to access the comments. even though you can click on show comments at the end of the article, it just takes you back to the top. where you can see the blurb with the number of comments. so obviously it's not broken for everyone, since I was receiving replies yesterday to comment from the day prior, but am unable to access them.

Limit posters to 100 posts per month.
Internet trolls are a problem. I just had an interaction with a person that had 27000 posts. He was clearly online to "stir the pot". Limiting the number of posts per day, per week, or per month, would allow free speech but help to mitigate the troll issue.

Drop down menu "News Finance Sports More" falsely triggers on hover
Windows desktop Chrome, the drop down menu "News Finance Sports More" in upper right, falsely triggers on hover a dozen times an hour when i close one news story in my browser tab bar then pass over this spot. The passing over triggers a full page menu of yahoo "More" options that is a nuisance to escape. Delay on hover to two seconds, make it click required, or move it left and away from a mouse center screen to upper right browser bar and back to center screen motion.

fix that i'm being blocked automatically at logon.
when i logon i'm always blocked and can't find out why. i ask the open web folks for help to clear it but it may take an hour. i'd like this fixed. i never get any feedback so i can't make corrections or adjustments. it's happening in the yahoo news section and the yahoo main section as well. see if there's something that can be done to fix this. it's very frustrating.

I used to read from top to bottom but since page refreshes so often I can never get to the bottom or even get back to where I left off after reading an article. I generally just give up and close page and do something else.

Get rid of far leftist propaganda - The Guardian, Salon, Huffington Post MSNBC NYT etc. At one time some of these were respected news sources. No longer.
