Better news coverage
This really isn't an idea. I have My Yahoo as my homepage by default because I can't find a better service that displays information as well as you. My concern is the information you display. I get that you are ultra liberal, but you are taking it to extremes. The side bar titled News For You isn't. Of the eight items each day, ALL are the news YOU want me to see, not facts or news I want. Today there were 5 of 8 articles from Huff Post and one from CNN. That's BS as far as I'm concerned, and…

Can you put the reasons for rejecting a comment into the message?
It's really annoying to get a "rejected" message without explaining why.

When someone comments to my comment
Put a link in the e-mail that will take me directly to that posting so I can rebut the commentator's remarks. Otherwise I h ave to dig through 3000+ comments to find it and respond.

Give real news.
Report the news. Your opinion comes thru of your negative opinions especially. You cannot be trusted. Look at Donald Trump you can't hide your disapproval of him so all the news is negative. What is in your heart comes out through your reports.

Add more content from conservative and non-partisan news sites. Your news sources skew decidedly left.
For example, you feature news from HuffPost and NBC which are left wing news organization. For balance, you should consider adding right wing news sources, like Daily Wire, Epoch Times, or the New York Post. For non-partisan sites consider The Free Press and The Wall Street Journal.

Honor the browser settings - autoplay
I have Firefox set to NOT "autoplay audio and video", yet Yahoo News seems to ignore my browser settings.
I DO NOT WANT VIDEOS SUCKING UP MY DATA ALLOTMENT!
Why can't Yahoo honor my browser settings? If I want news videos, I will turn on my 65" TV. Why would I want to watch a video on my 6" phone screen? I even have dual 24" monitors OVER dual 27" monitors on my PC... Again, why would I want to watch a video on my 6" phone screen?
Guess my only option is to boycott Yahoo News on my phone.645th ranked -
Do not Keep up articles where “commenting has ended.”
If “commenting has been ended” on an article, there is no reason for the article to remain up, or, most egregiously, reposted with the current date. I was preparing to comment on an article with the dateline of today (1/1/24), when I saw that commenting had somehow already ended. Looking at the comments, they were from 3 weeks prior. How does commenting end 3 weeks before an article is posted? If an article is worth reposting, the public has the right to determine if it is still worth commenting on. I realized some factual errors and inaccurate assumptions made in…

So you have reinstated commenting but evidently not to everyone. I can't get in at all to respond to questions or even like a post.
So you have reinstated commenting but evidently not to everyone. I can't get in at all to respond to questions or even like a post. I have tried reaching out to chat but was told that did not know who could or couldn't post and that I should reach out to here so this is my try to gain access.

Get rid of far leftist propaganda - The Guardian, Salon, Huffington Post MSNBC NYT etc. At one time some of these were respected news sources. No longer.

Annoying Video Popup
While scrolling down a news article, new in the past month you popup a video on the lower right. The video never plays right, freezes or refuses to play at all. The video player covers the text of the article I came to read, making it unreadable. If I close the video to read it, the video pops up again the moment I scroll down. I did not come to Yahoo News to watch videos, but I will leave as a result of them.
