  1. Reinstate "comments". Not nearly as entertaining.

Bring back "comments section. O now spend 75% less time on Yahoo than previously. Change back soon or I'll move to Google as my home page. Thanks...

  4. Freedom of speech?

To have a prominent journalist from Yahoo News on Twitter calling for the removal of other credentialed journalists from the Twitter platform is unconscionable. I'm on the left and think this is incredibly inappropriate coming from a journalist at an allegedly non-partisan outlet. Even if you don't agree that de-platforming is a 1st amendment violation (debatable), it absolutely casts your network in a bad light to have your journalists calling for the banning of other journalists from social media, the modern-day public square. I'd have a serious moment of self-reflection about the values at this outlet and a conversation with…

  7. Not achieving your goal

Perhaps you can clarify how eliminating comments works toward your stated goal of creating "a safe and engaging place for users to connect over interests and passions." Where is this place, exactly?

  9. Comments

If you're going to post one sided articles, at least let people comment on them. For example; The article about the black guy in the Army being harassed, sorry, he is just weak. Happened to guys I served with in regular units and all of them were white. If you're going to take away comments on articles, then everyone should comment about articles on here.

  12. Why did you change your format? It was just fine the way it was. This new version sucks!

I hate the new format. THe old format was just fine. Why can''t people just leave well enough alone. There always has to be some new mananger who thinks his way is the best. Well, this new way is the worst!

  14. Be brave Yahoo, have some accountability

There is an article today by some person named Benjamin H. Smith, there is no way of contacting him, nothing, for all we know it's Artificial Intelligence and I would question the intelligence part. The head line is "Woman Murders 2 Men And Feeds Them To Her Pigs — But Did She Do It To Others?" then goes on to state the the "Woman" is actually a man pretending to be a woman. Wouldn't it have been more appropriate to say, Transgender Woman? Your agenda is so plain to see, what happened to all of you people who run this…

  16. Its time for Yahoo to allow us to comment on articles again. If you don't like alternative opinions, don't post articles that are partisan.

Let us comment on articles again. If people need a "safe" place because they are afraid of being offended, let them go hide in the corner of a library, because they aren't ready to be adults.

  17. Removing the ability to comment cripples Yahoo News.

Comments can provide additional context, details, updates, and different perspectives on the news. Banning comments curtails a vital and necessary check on the reporting of news, and it's long past time to bring comments back. If you don't like the content of certain comments, then give us the ability to hide them through community action.

  18. The comment section needs to be brought back.

Honestly, it is not at all right that news media can use their forum to perpetuate lies and distortions based upon their biased reports. Yahoo is clearly a very liberal news outlet - and I am not criticizing you for that. Fox is the very conservative format. However, I have seen some disgusting distortions in your news articles and they need to be corrected. The comment section allows true news to be brought forth if people chose to seek truth out. Sure, some people abuse it with their ridiculousness, and that is done by the full political spectrum. Regardless, please…

  20. If you do not allow comments, please do not allow disinformation as news

Clearly, the old unmoderated comment section was a target for trolls and automated response patterns on many topics. However, now you have the opposite problem. Disinformation disguised as news. The National Review article skewering the 60 minutes piece on Desantis is a case in point. If you don't have comments, at least provide fact checking on the articles you post.
