Again with the comment section changes.
Yahoo continuously keeps trying to change the comment section. That is the main reason people use yahoo news. Last time they did it, people left in droves until they mostly turned it back to its original format. It's going to happen again. Without the comment section, with thumbs up and down, not that stupid heart, I once again will use competitors news sites instead.

Also very hard if not impossible to review a previous comment or to reply back to a comment someone else made.

Mr. Trump shows no respect for the Office of the President or the current administration. In my opinion that equals no respect for him.

I agree. Yahoo should return to the full previous version.

If you scroll through the news feed, you can already notice the exodus away from Yahoo. Stories I see now are maybe getting a hundred or so comments, where they used to get thousands. In the past I had seen stories with 20,000+ comments and hundreds of replies to those individual comments. Now, at the top end, maybe 1500 comments, with minimal replies. A simple thing like "thumbs up/ thumbs down", and the ability to see my past comments and replies to them, was a big reason to spend time reading Yahoo stories. Not so much anymore. To the "web guy" at Yahoo that thinks a "cutey heart" is appropriate to use in comments about dead children, maybe you should rethink this. Maybe.

Dear Yahoo, if you want more hits. Please put the old comment section back. Stop taking ideas of stupid recent graduates that think what's best for everyone. "We" hate this heart-sh!t

I wholeheartedly agree with the comment above. It's really pointless to only have the heart. It means you only give a reader one choice. If you don't like the comment, you should be able to say so with a thumbs down. Otherwise simply allow people to express their opinion without being able to like or dislike a comment. I also like the feature of seeing what other people have posted to my comments if any at all.

I am planning on leaving! I can not stand using it any more without the thumbs up and down. I also like seeing what, if anyone, commented on my opinions.
