Freedom of speech?
To have a prominent journalist from Yahoo News on Twitter calling for the removal of other credentialed journalists from the Twitter platform is unconscionable. I'm on the left and think this is incredibly inappropriate coming from a journalist at an allegedly non-partisan outlet. Even if you don't agree that de-platforming is a 1st amendment violation (debatable), it absolutely casts your network in a bad light to have your journalists calling for the banning of other journalists from social media, the modern-day public square. I'd have a serious moment of self-reflection about the values at this outlet and a conversation with…

woman breastfeeding while standing on head is **** to me
How can I not have to see that again. It has been coming on my timeline for almost a week. I ignored it at first. It's so offensive. I hovered over it. I've tried to block it. I don't want to see naked women feeding babies. I consider it child abuse. It's revolting and disgusting.

Stop the ban on comments. They improve yahoo subjects and help us decide what is right according to what we all have to say about a subject.
You don't care what I think. You only care that I agree with what you think.

If you haven't figured it out by now, you probably never will!
"In order to improve our community experience, we are TEMPORARILY suspending article commenting."
This is like a Charles Bronson, "Death Wish Sequel #37" -- something with no end! You are obviously attempting to influence readers with your one-sided Op-Eds and are trying to rationalize your actions with a statement that even the dumbest can see for what it is. You are only fooling yourselves. You have lost respect, and are losing readership.

Put the comment sections back or be less one-sided in your political postings.
Please either put the comments back or try to be less one-sided in your political postings. I am a middle-of-the-road independent, so your far-left agenda is just as bad as the far-right agenda that you always ridicule. The far-left has just as much to ridicule as the far-right, I assure you. When I have to read all the far-left "news", and have no outlet to present another side, because we don't all think exactly alke, it makes me dislike Yahoo News very much!! Grow up and realize there are two sides to every story - every story!!!!!!!

Update by Melissa Rossi
I would like to ask one of your contributors, Melissa Rossi, if she would consider updating her book "What Every American Should Know About the Middle East". It's a great read and deserves an update - any plans for that????

Since yahoo took the comment section away
"Ma'Khia Bryant's family blamed foster care for her death. Experts agree she shouldn't have been left home unsupervised". It is unfortunate that this young girl has died but please take responsibility for your actions. She could have walked away from the altercation and not brought a knife to the fight. She was 16 year old and not a child. so to leave her by herself should have not been problem. Someone did this poor girl wrong but it was not the foster care place.

Younger sister remembers Ma'Khia Bryant: 'She wanted to grow up and be great'
This is tragic and a double edge sword for police officer. This little African American girl was about to stab another african American girl with a knife. If the officer did nothing he would have been condemned as racist but since he did something he is still condemned. It is sad this little girl died but what was she thinking trying to stab another girl?

We want to retire in a place with a low cost of living, no humidity and no colder than 50 degrees — I freeze easily! Where should we go?
Silvia Ascarelli
Sat, May 8, 2021, 12:31 PMA low tax burden would be beneficial, but not crucial. The South has the winter temperatures you want but is hot and humid in the summer. The MarketWatch “where should I retire” tool tells me you are headed to the Oregon coast, to a few spots in California or possibly to New Mexico.
