Oh wow, how surprising that comments are not allowed now that all this covid "news" is featuring hyped up nonsense. Now more than ever comments should be allowed. Why should America be sheltered from the truth?? Let people other that paid off reporters, scientists and politicians have a voice. Some of these reports are proven to be over exaggerated and set-up to cause more fear and undue anxiety. Let us set the record straight.

Enable commentary on your opinion articles at least if your going to shut down comments. That practice give only the writer opinion.
Enable comments for opinion news articles. Give voice to everyone not just the article writer.

Comment Section
Many comments have asked for the comment section to be reinstated. Looking at 2020 and now more of the same in 2021, it would be a good vehicle to express this past years’ frustration. So much misinformation by our congress people on both sides of the aisle and silence regarding the unrest of the past year in some of our biggest cities. Give us a voice!

Why not allow people to comment? Why say ugly things about our President who was voted in by the American People.. And without anyone able to comment! Your news is slanted opinion, not news. This is the first time I've went to this site in months. No more!

Improve site navigation
Besides whatever you're doing with the comments, you definitely need to improve site navigation. If I leave the Home page to read an article in news, when I've finished the article I should be able to return to Home even if the article was actually in the News section. Basically, I think the "Purple X" should appear with every article no matter what section of your site the article is located. I dislike having to scroll thru the entire News section every time I finish an article, just to get back to where I was before. VERY IRRITATING.

My suggestion is to make plans for tomorrow and find a path as how can we deter this
this virus. We have some very large hurdles to overcome, so why not pull
your views in a bit and see if you can make plans for - let's see, by the
end of the month there will be no more deaths, or the number that are
start thinking about tomorrow.That would show the rest of the states
what is possible. -
You can improve by not reporting all the bias news articles that you post every day.
Bring back the comment sections for all your articles. People will not read your news without being able to comment. Also stop be biased against everything that you may not agree with. Sick of Yahoo news that spreads nothing but negatives against our President and the right .

Comments were removed because there was too much pushback on false articles
I have been part of Yahoo for nearly 20 years. All of the news sources are being linked to liberal media sources. In the last couple of years, there is NEVER a positive article about the current leadership. I am shopping around to find a non biased news agency with a mail hosting capability. .Why is there NEVER a positive article about the Trump administration?

Bring back your comment section. I'm so tired of reading these bias news articles that lack information. At least with the comments enabled people are able to discuss, get clarification, get a range of opinions on a topic, get information that the writer was lacking, get fact checked from un-biased sources, and stop all the stupid one sided bull that has overwhelmed Yahoo. This news media sucks now that the comments have been disabled. Who paid you off? I guess speech isn't free.

Vz media hit squad Graeme Massie of Independent "continues to do derogatory and negative hit pieces on Mr & Mrs Trump".For VZ to not allow comments and then post these opinion pieces as news does a major disservice to this corporation as a "credible news source". Vz media looks to be going full tilt CNN, not a good look.
