Notifications Doesn't Work Properly
In addition to Notifications sending you to random articles rather than the one you are being notified about, it is also failing to drop visited notification from the list. In order to get rid of them, you have to go to the "View All Notification" page and take them out one by one.
Further, after you delete one, you get a message that you can edit receiving notifications. Clicking on that take you to the same page as if you clicked the "Manage" options, but neither allow you to manage notifications at all. it's only about articles you've subscribed to.…

Improve filter function
I can't tell you how many times I've had to hide the the same story or "dislike" a topic multiple times. Once a topic is disliked, it should stay that way and I shouldn't have to constantly tell Yahoo that I want to see fewer similar stories. The filter function is a great idea but only if it actually works!

Why are url's being recycling? I get notifications to comments made, but when selected, get a different story entirely.
Make notifications useful again.

Video Player not working
Half the videos I try to watch through the yahoo articles never end up playing and sit on a black screen for days. The ad roll plays prior to the video but after the ad roll, all I receive is a black video box. This has occurred numerous times when looking through yahoo articles over the years.

I like to delete comments to the news after a few weeks, but some are still in after months of trying. Please fix this issue.
I would like to see the news comments to be able to be deleted immediatly and permanetly, without the problem of trying dozens of times and having the comment still there. I currently have 7 comments I have tried at least 14 times to delete, but they are still there.

Fewer like this.
No matter how many times I click on "fewer like this" button I STILL continue to get the same stories. I do not want to see sports stories. Do your programmers know what they are doing?

Wow, The Daily Caller, seriously? On your HOME PAGE? As "news"? Goodbye, enjoy your declining years.

Still takes me to the wrong story. A link to a story ab't Obama and the Supreme Court takes me to "Urgent-care clinics ill-equipped to treat Ebola" instead.

Links in activity notification emails don't work right
I entered this before, but you marked it 'completed' when you put the notifications back (which tells me you didn't read my bug, because that's not what it was about). And now I can't even find the original bug.
I receive daily emails with listings of activity in Yahoo News comments (replies, thumbs up, etc.). In these emails are links that used to take me to the article and/or comment.
But now, the links usually take me to some article other than the one it should.
Please fix this, and pay attention to what it's about. It isn't about the…

None of your video links are working, except initial ads. Here's one: http://news.yahoo.com/obama-tells-angry-hispanics-wont-immigration-ref
Fix the links to the videos, it's frustrating to see the ads only, but not the real content. Here's one of them:

the videos on the front page play an ad, then never play the video with no way to select "play".
take the ads out and give an option to select "play the video" that works and doesnt just play the ad again. there's enough ads on your site. good thing google doesnt compete with you guys on news or i'd go there.

notifications
You wanted to know what was happening: I clicked on notifications for an ebola story and was sen to http://news.yahoo.com/courts-knock-down-gay-marriage-bans-arizona-alaska-031412742.html?bcmt=1413670093142-7067e4af-eebb-4702-b35c-fa5e4f4b739c_0001fg000000000000000000000000-451b3038-5f8b-456d-ba1d-2896d3569ef6&bcmt_s=u#mediacommentsugc_container instead.

Video's/articles and their comments are all jumbled because of continuous stream
If a reader wants to post comments to the correct article/video, he/she MUST pause the video or else the comments will be posted to the next video/article in yahoo's line-up. This is rather annoying when posting and again when reading comments that aren't applicable to the content.
Please make the video play OPTIONAL! -
Wrong links on notifications...again...still...
Well, Yahoo, at least you're consistent. After all the comments and up-votes for you to fix this stupid glitch that sends users to articles they don't want when they click on their notifications, we're still being routed to articles other than those in notifications. Maybe it's time I just suck it up and get a gmail account along with the rest of the world, because you clearly have no intention of fixing this problem that is an annoying waste of your users' time.
