Comments by Adults
Are you ever going to stop punishing those of us that have legit comments on news articles? It seems to me we are being punished for the act of trolls, when you could go after them instead of ALL of US?

Journalistic Integrity
Dear Yahoo, you took away the ability for commenters to weigh in on your stories, all in the name of a safer environment and because a lot of users are conservatives who disagree with your left leaning bias.
You, Kardashian every story or use Huffpost who start with a bias headline and then use biased twitter responses filled with obscenities that commenters were not allowed to use, and your readers let you hear about it.You have done a grave and divisive thing. Your email users, should be a reminder to you of teh diversity you provide services to and…

Put back the feedback sectiion, Yahoo news has always been biased and nothing short of TRITE Liberal BS and DRIVEL.
Here's the IDEA. Restore Comments .
You're (Yahoo) just presenting yourself as yet, another silencing mechanism in the media, by your elimination of comments from readers and viewers of your site. Unfortunately, it must peeve your butthurt, to see ACTUAL Social Discourse and intelligence, presented in comments by users that present more truth than your bloody FAKE reporters can muster up for Sheeple Fodder. Not quite sure how the likes of Daniel Klaidman, Colin Campbell and Lauren Johnston wake daily and look in the mirror, without PROJECTILE HOARKING all over it after looking at themselves in it.455th ranked -
ADD COMMENT PAGES TO YOUR NEWS !!
Democracy is not one way freedom of speech coming down to passive readers from the ivory towers !!!
Readers have ideas that can be useful once in a thousand comments... Bear with the rest of the garbage comments.

Cmon! Just allow the comments again! Besides, half the stuff gets censored anyways, so what's your problem??

Bring back comment section
My guess is the comment section was taken down because that is the best way for yahoo to push it's very biased and liberal agenda. That's the best way to silence people with a different view (the truth) take away their voice. Have gotten to where I dont even pay attention on yahoo page. To much false ********. There are no journalists left in this country with enough testicular fortitude to actually report the truth

You can let people's opinions be known WITHOUT CENSORING or "temporarily suspending commenting"...like they might do in a REPUBLIC.
I'll let the people who were censored by their government, and overthrew that government, tell you how important freedom of the press/speech REALLY is.
“For if Men are to be precluded from offering their Sentiments on a matter, which may involve the most serious and alarming consequences, that can invite the consideration of Mankind, reason is of no use to us; the freedom of Speech may be taken away, and, dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep, to the Slaughter.”
George Washington“Reason and free inquiry are the only effectual agents against error.”
Thomas Jefferson“Let us dare…

Bring back the reader response and discussion
Bring back the reader discussion area. That was the main reason I read Yahoo. The discussions could get a little rough sometimes, but that is OK.

Coming up on 5 and a half months. Is commenting going to be re-enabled on news articles about the country's events or is it gone for good?
I guess that people of different persuasions not being able to have dialogue with each other on here is a "safe" solution but I wouldn't call this a community....

How about making the comments and responses section available...
Every other news or feature site has a comments and response section available to readers at the end of the article...can't seem to access one on Yahoo News...

Stop spreading panic news.
Dylan Stableford and Lauren Tuck need to just stop. The political bias is just too much...I love yahoo...but I'm about to delete it from my favorites because of this blue side panic driven goal of getting trump out. It's been 4 years...get over it...vote in a new guy if you can...if you can't..live with it. Everybody else is.

New format is forcing users away
I'll be switching to a new source of years after over a decade reading it on yahoo. I have dealt with many format changes but this one is the worst of many bad ideas that have hindered the user experience over the years.
- No longer a way to see a list of top stories. Instead you get 4-5 stories under each category, forcing you to check each category individually rather than a ready list of top stories from each being presented.
- New design is not for readers. The new design is a picture book of huge pictures and (sometimes misleading)…

You have a 'Coronovirus' section all to itself. So why are you posting dozens of articles in the SCIENCE section? And why no science stuff
Why is all the coronovirus stuff being posted in the Science section, and no science articles about technology, space, aviation, archeology, etc., etc.?? You have a section called 'Coronovirus'. Why not post articles about the coronovirus in the Coronovirus section??
