Stop posting joke stories on the news pages as if they are true news. [Borowitz report]
Yahoo's front page posts "headlines" from the Borowitz Report as though they are actual news headlines. They aren't. They are jokes, similar to the Onion. Yahoo's front page includes them as real headlines among real news stories, with no indication that THEY ARE A JOKE.

Edit article before submitting for publication
More and more, steadily, it seems like articles are not read by other eyes than those of the author - no editing. I'm not talking spell check (and perhaps that is the identity when you yank back the curtain), but missing words from sentences, typos, and grammatical errors. Is there and editor over all editors for Yahoo? Or is there even one editor? Or do the writers check their work and that is the standard Yahoo lives by? I understand I place far too much expectation on Yahoo, since that is one of my sources for news (not my only),…

Local News Format
I live in the DFW Metroplex. I do not need or even read local news outlets from areas that are 2-300 miles away. Go back to the format where actual news locales are in your immediate metroplex area.

Please do not show in full view offensive or very distressing new items
I was VERY distressed to read about the '****' of a pitbull this morning as top news, also in the past other subjects of animal cruelty or cruelty to children or people were equally explicit.. The headlines itself are enough to lodge in the mind without opening the article or reading further. Can we please be more discerning in what we feature on the picture headlines and the headline content being so explicit in future or I will have to find another email provider. Thanks

"Safe For Work" Web Version of Yahoo's Splash Page.
Semi nude celebrity or no-name Women are shown EVERY DAY in the sidebars. This is NOT SAFE FOR WORK!! I can't be at work simply wanting to read the news and be worried a co-working might report me for a barely censored picture on my screen.
My job is at risk here. This is highly embarrassing and always the wrong environment. If my co-workers had slightly censored pics of male body parts on their screens for me to casually look at, my eyebrows would be raised in dis-wonderment too.

How about going back to the old home page...I actually hate everything about your new spread. The news is always 'half-' with so much ***** wrapped around, next to and on each it really sucks! Reading your material is no longer worth the waiting for information to continue! You have lost a customer...I am totally fed up with how your news is so screwed up!

Yahoo news won't stay off
Yahoo news video box won't stay paused. It stops for a few seconds but as I scroll it keeps turning itself back on. You won't let me hide/close the video box, your developers don't seem to know how to create a pause function and the videos are useless-no wonder your firm has become a disaster.
