Some stories posted on Yahoo news do not allow a comment. We would like to see that all stories can be commented on, including the Katie Curic interview with Tony Blair.

How come my local news feed does not refresh properly anymore and fewer choices of sources as years goes by? It is getting less and less.

Too many ads. Each page takes too long to load because you have ads everywhere. Sometimes less is more.
Cut down on the amount of information on each page. Your pages continuously refresh and have ads everywhere making it a pain to navigate. Less is more.

News comments section regularly returns this error when it tries to load, and when posting or rating comments. The errors have become much more frequent today.

How can I read the news stories and then go back to where I was in the feed, ex. stories 6-10, instead of all the way back to the beginning.
How can I read the news stories and then go back to where I was in the feed, ex. stories 6-10, instead of all the way back to the beginning. I used to be able to do that. Now, when I get to story 56-60, I don't want to read the story because when I go back to the main page, it takes me back to the very beginning. Is this just a settings fix or something? Please help.

Make yahoo news local make sense
I have never been to Sunnyvale, CA. Yet you've set that as my default for local news. I live in Illinois. I can delete everything, including my Illinois zip code, but not Sunnyvale, CA. How about being competent just this once and give us a fix for that. Huh? You dump people's emails in a snap, you charge for poor service, and you have no help under the heading of help. Do SOMETHING right, okay? How can I dump Sunnyvale. Maybe YOU think it's important, but for me it's not.

Stop posting day-old news as if it's Just Breaking!
The most annoying thing on Yahoo besides videos that auto-play when you click on the story, is seeing yesterday's news take the top spot on the Yahoo News page as if it Just happened. Half of the stories aren't even stuff Americans care about. Stop regurgitating old world news just to get us to drive your click-through stats up!

pages of Europe contain American news items, no one is in charge, the News pages have the feel of college level newspaper, a very off handed, mindless, flaky attitude, mixing stupid and mindless items with serious world events, relying on notoriously questionable Lefty sources with a bias. It all looks as if management takes it all for granted, as if surfers got no where else to go, but is it true? -

I can't read video text at the bottom of the screen because the advertisements cover them.
When I watch a video that has text at the bottom of the screen (i.e. a persons name) I can't read the text because the pop-up advertisements cover them. When I go to close the advertisements, the other Yahoo video pop-up from the right side and prevent me from being able to close the advertisements. Can you have your pop-up stuff come from the left side or move the "X" to close the advertisements to the left side?
