How can you remove a story from the Yahoo homepage.
I do not want to see articles about animals being hurt, whether by humans or other animals. Used to be you could remove them from the homepage. Now, it seems you can't. The only way now to avoid these types of things is to change my homepage to something other than yahoo.

Stop using the Algorithm to monitor comments
The algorithm prevented this comment. There is no inappropriate language, nor is there any abuse or attacking of an individual. However, this does abuse me and my right to freely express my views which is the hallmark of American democracy:

To improve Yahoo News you can stop censoring perfectly legitimate comments that in no way violate the guidelines.
The censorship is ridiculous. I'll see vile comments that should be removed left . And yet so many of mine, which in no way violate the guidelines are taken down. It looks very suspicious frankly. It's like someone doesnt want certain people to speak. Looking awfully darn red, not red white and blue.

Please remove the awful pop-up bubble that can't be closed. I click the "X" to close the bubble and then it reappears and the "X" to close doesn't work. Have an actual person verify tagged comments, too many of my comments are removed when they're compliant with the TOS, no algorithm.
Too many people flag another's comments because they were offended, and those comments that are compliant with the TOS are removed with zero chance to appeal the decision. Automatically banning without review or just allowing an algorithm decide isn't fair for those who want to contribute to the conversation, especially when there is nothing hateful, racist, violent, etc. At least allow somewhere to appeal the algorithm's decision.
