Please do not allow fake news! I have many times clicked on a story to find it bogus. Must disclose that it's propaganda vs news
Yahoo must make a distinction between real / factual news from reliable and reputable sources, vs propaganda / fake news. For the latter, it should be under a specific heading that identifies the stories as not coming from a reliable news agency / newspaper.

Certain articles on the main Yahoo page lead to articles from other sources, like The Washington Posot, LA Times, etc. Yahoo needs to screen these sources better so that we are not subjected to prompts to supply personal information before we are allowed to continue prior to accessing the content.

I am drop the ads and links before reading
Everytime I click a link to read news there are numerous ads or links that prevent my reading and often never load fully.
I am dropping Yahoo as my home page. Sadly, I have used Yahoo since the beginning. -

Higher standards for news articles
I know it's a very fraught time for criticism of journalistic viewpoints, but I think that specifically CNS News and Media Research Center contribute a lot of Yahoo news articles which are overly breezy in tone and take far too many liberties with implications and indirect characterization. While it is great to see avowedly conservative commentary, neither of those overlapping entities has the sorts of journalistic standards I think we should expect.

No free internet news. I am more and more frequently blocked by the providers which Yahoo!! chooses to plaster my page. I want control.
The internet used to be a source of free ideas and information. More and more frequently now, I find myself blocked from viewing sights because I use AD BLOCK . . . They refuse to acknowledge how many different advertisers will throw up pop-ups on your page or hi-jack your page until their ads load and begin playing before you get to view your intended content. I grew tired and extremely frustrated at having to close 5-6 pop-up windows per page I visited. NOW this pages often DO NOT let you view their content unless you close AD BLOCK or…
