  1. Please hire an editor who speaks English. "Weary" means tired. "Wary" means suspicious. Two totally different words.

Please hire an editor who speaks English. "Weary" means tired. "Wary" means suspicious. Two totally different words. And this is pitiful: "in rare cases some of died." What was needed was the past construction: " some HAVE died".

Is education no longer a requirement for Yahoo writers?

  3. Reopen - Yahoo comments

Recommend reopening Yahoo comments. Otherwise, reasonable readers will perceive that your actions were intended to silence the majority, promote the few with their left-leaning Democratic agenda of socialism, and further support racial activism during an election year? Socialism breed racism, and it is one country United not divided by Yahoo!

  4. Could you kindly remove the Spanish language commercials from before your videos? Last I looked, I don't live in Mexico or Central America.

You could quit pandering/enabling criminals by stopping this idiotic advertising. I know it is hard for the liberal media to comprehend, but pandering to criminals is a BAD thing.

  6. Yahoo now censors basic words (and PARTS of words) like Test, Exam and Assessment.

Apparently they updated their algorithm and forgot that PARTS of some words have "naughty bits". For example you can't use an X any longer, thet gets wingdings out. The first three letters of assessment also get blocked, as does the whole word Test?

    FIX THE ALGORITHM...

  8. Where do you get off censoring a word used IN YOUR NEWS REPRINTS?

You use a 'news' source from Huffington Post calling anyone who doesn't agree with their leftist fiction, and THEY are calling those on the right Nazi's??? I use the same word in a reply and YOU censor the word? Newsflash, NAZI is a HISTORICAL TERM FOR HITLER'S ARMY H-I-S-T-O-R-I-C-A-L....is this clear enough? How dare you censor me using that word yet you toss it around like a dog toy! You bloody hypocrites!

  11. Bad grammar makes me immediately stop reading and dismiss the articles entirely.

Can someone at YAHOO use spell and grammar check before posting articles? It makes me think that you are too ignorant to know what you are writing about.

  12. Bad grammar

It would be helpful if you used proper grammar as some deluded souls actually believe what is written online or in a newspaper is correct. Return back is very common - and annoying!!

  13. How about actually deleting the comments that get flagged?

There are some horrible comments that just remain. Decent users flag them, but we've known for 5 years that no comments ever get deleted. I'm not saying all flagged comments should be deleted, but if a user gets thousands of their comments flagged isn't that a strong indicator that the user needs to be banned?

  14. Block button

II do not like seeing any animal cruelty stories, and I had them all blocked until you changed yahoo ( yet again). Now I can find no way to block them, there is a love button but not a block button. If you dont make it so I can block things I dont want to see, I will change my home page to something else, and use a different search engine. Please Yahoo change it back to the way it was before, or at least show me how to block storys I dont want on my…

  15. Please hire authors and editors that know proper English: "Sneak" is a regular verb, past tense is "sneaked." "Snuck" is incorrect slang.

"Sneak" is a regular verb, past tense is "sneaked." "Snuck" is incorrect slang. People expect what they read to be correct and too many of your writers use incorrect grammar and misuse words, adding to the ignorance our society already has enough of.

Your so obvious with how you "phrase" and "report" news particularly politics. Everything you you report on the conservative side of politics is negative or questioned or even "tongue in cheek. Yet everything for the more liberal side like a Hilary or President Obama is always so cheerful positive and can do not wrong.

I have read it for years and I can no longer subscribe to our mail or search engine so I am leaving. I thought you would want to know why.

    Thank you

  19. Put the comments section back into Yahoo news. You are robbing the readers of the ability to communicate with each other

Put the comments back in, you are robbing the readers of the ability to communicate with each other and to comment on the news of the day. In addition many of the stories are incomplete and readers have provided additional information which complemented the original story.

  20. Remove profanity

Make sure there is not profanity published on the news home page, like article, "Freakish eel-like sea creature shows up on Australian beach" that included one of the most offensive words in the first line of the article. Found at 0900 on 16 February 2016.
