Stop making us click to "Read More!"
You've made us click twice to read a story and twice to close the two windows - I've been using Yahoo since its inception, but am now sick of it. Google News - here I come.

Quit trying to fool readers by placing "ads" in the midst of editorial content!
If Yahoo! wants to be taken seriously as a reliable news source, please STOP this shameful, craven, unprofessional and ultimately deceptive practice of weaving editorial and advertising together with the same look and feel.

Bring back Comments
Bring back Comments or I won't be visiting Yahoo anymore for articles. It's as simple as that. Disabling this feature is basically censorship and feeding in to the cancel culture and silencing opposing viewpoints. Sad day in America.

Why can't we control the sources of content we receive? If I can't stand HuffPost or Salan why am I forced to have that content on my page?
Give us a way to control the sources of the newsfeed we prefer.

Stop spamming the "news" section with "sponsored ads."
Cease and desist with the annoying "Sponsored Ads" disguised as news links. Provide a clear method to disable these insidious, alienating, exploitative commercials.
-
Allow us to block content by the content provider. I don't want to see FOX News or MSNBC in my news feed.
Right now when you try to "see fewer like this" in your news feed, you only get the option to remove content about subjects. I don't mind seeing an article about a particular entertainer, athlete, or even politician. What I do mind is biased editorials masquerading as news from outlets like the NY Post, FOX News, MSNBC, etc. I want to block the content from them entirely. Make this possible.

Find SOME way to filter out all of the Russian trolls!
Russian trolls are a plague on Yahoo comments. Most of them are easy to identify, because they are attacking Yahoo or other news sources, not the article or information in question. Also, Russian trolls generally have few comments, generally less than a thousand, and a quick review of their other comments can be used as the basis to screen them out and close their accounts. Get these Russian trolls OUT of Yahoo!

Stop posting Huff Post, PopSugar, Newsweek, and other Liberal Propaganda sites like they are legitimate "news"?
Stop posting Huff Post, PopSugar, Vox, Newsweek, and other Liberal Propaganda sites like they are legitimate "news"? You KNOW they are NOT legitimate news. You are posting fake news that will be indistinguishable from legitimate news to those that do not know or pay any attention to politics. It's INGENIOUS at best and purposeful misinformation at worst. It's hard to take Yahoo seriously when most of the links are from Huffington Post. Slanted and Biased is all I see.

too many sponsored ads in with news
Stop putting 'sponsored' articles in with the news.. No wonder Yahoo is loosing popularity.. This is their biggest complaint and they aren't doing anything about it.. It will bite them in the end...

Return to former homepage news across top with ability to move from one group to another.
When selecting a news item, show info on the heading instead of having to opt for more and then having to search for what you headlined the news to be. 3 winners and 2 loser in gop depate was one example.

Ability to change thumb up/down
Please add the ability to change the Thumb Up/Down selection after it has been clicked.

STOP POSTING THE DAILY CALLER INDER THE GUISE OF IT BEING "NEWS"
The Daily Caller is clearly a heavily biased diatribe. Stop, Stop, Stop. Let the Koch Brothers find some other outlet before you further destroy the Yahoo brand.

Date and time of articles on newsfeed
Please add the date and time of the articles published so i can ind specific content.

Comments section
Hi, Yahoo, your comments section was your greatest asset, with the thumbs up and down as an indicator of public opinion. You attracted many users because of this feature. The 'my comments' history viewing function also captured the loyalty of many users. Perhaps you could have monetized the comments section with advertisements. With the new format lacking the up and downvote and 'my comments' viewing functions, however, I will be abandoning Yahoo news. Your service now offers nothing of value that sets you apart from the competition. Thanks for the years of news.

Description over photos
Please stop putting the description over the photo in the slide show because it impairs the ability to view the image.
