Quit having me click twice or more!
When I click an article to read, I don't want to have to click another link to 'read more'. Why do you think I clicked the link in the first place, to hopefully have to click more links? I immediately leave the page and never look back. Same with a full page ad, I just close the browser window and move on. If you want readers to stay on your site maybe you could make it easier without the annoyance of redundant clicking.

Yeah and when you sign in to your email account now you have to click NEXT and then wait for the new page to load and then type your password. What is the purpose for this? The first rule of the internet is keep it simple and NO POP UPS !

I no longer go to the yahoo page. When you have to make use of clickbait to get people to read your ****, you know you only have garbage and nothing of importance.

sometimes you click READ MORE, a new page opens and in that page you are asked again if you want to READ MORE. Very annoying. Like most people I 'bail out' imminently after seeing the READ MORE prompt. If this is being done to as a ploy to increase advertising, in my opinion, its having a negative impact.

I agree w/the comment above. It's gotten so frustrating that I go to other websites i.e. msn.com etc. for the news.

single click works for me. Second click should be the little 'x' on the tab to close out and go to Google or some other search engine.

I am very disappointed in reading yahoo news. The underlying tone of your news has been extremely liberal. Please do not forget that you have many followers that are conservative and with your direction you may drive them away. Please just report the news and let your subscribers decide for themselves based on any unbiased twists for sensationalism. Show you are Professional and not the level of the Inquirer news outlets. Thank you
also I agree with doing away with the double click or more to read an article. Yes I know you are putting layers to get more ad money. However if you push your viewers too far and do not listen to their desires, you will eventually limit what you are aiming for as the bottom line. With a limited audience to attract advertisers. Thank you.
I may be looking at Google as an option.......

After 15 years, I just switched to Google news. Requiring me to click twice on a News Story makes the entire Yahoo News just click bait. You lost a loyal user. Hopefully your extra revenue from making me click twice was worth it.

I'm with him! Knock off the clickity click ****. One click should do the job.

This so annoying. When I click to read an article I don't want to get a 3 line teaser and have to click again to get the full story. Neither do I want to click on it and get half of a sentence with next below it only to have to go through 20 different snap shots to get a story. I am sure this great for your advertising but it sucks your users. MSN is looking better all the time.

Please get rid of the Double Click to read articles. In the meantime I have switch Yahoo as my Home Page since I love to read the news, sports, etc but I am not going to go through hoops to read what interests me. There are enough websites out there that only require me to click once to get to the article I want to read. Until this is fixed I will NOT be using Yahoo

Yes, I agree, having me click twice to display more ads is absurd, and extremely annoying. Do you really think the majority of us look at all those ads when we just want to read an article. Your going to loose more users and have less hits on your pages if this continues. I know I'm about done!!!

You win! If you have been trying to run customers off with the <Read More> button to read a story that they have already chosen to read, you succeeded. I am done trying to read articles on Yahoo. The <Read More> button is ridiculous. I am going elsewhere for news and entertainment stories.

I would like you to explain the reasoning behind this action.
You have to keep in mind, for every page passed, the browser must store another page in history, slowing browsers even faster. -

I have been using other news sources lately as your desperate attempt to get more advertising by creating a separate landing page is annoying as ****. You are driving longstanding and loyal users away.

Whoever thought that the Read More button and the heart icon in place of thumbs in the comments section, should be fired.

I agree with all the other posters. You seem to be doing your best to get rid of customers. I've been here since yahoo first started and I thought that this click click would stop soon, but you've finally managed to chase me to your competitors.
