Put back comment section
When yahoo took the comment section away it took my reason for using yahoo as a news source. Yahoo articles make no sense sometimes and the comment section has the condensed version of the article. The comment section always gave difference perception of the article. And it was funny as all get out. It was my daily laughter. Add a ignore/block button like FB has if this has become an issue.

Agree completely. It was interesting to watch the conversation between when some one goes off on a tangent and starts to twist the facts. The other readers will try to get then back on track, and if that fails, force them to leave the conversation.

Why delete one of the few remaining areas for real people to express their opinions? It seems like we are now living in George Orwell's 1984 world.

I spent years making comments and replies that I wanted to keep as a journal record. Are these comments gone forever?

if you are going to only post stories from CNN and other pro Democrat sites then you are not allowing conservative speakers to have their say and that is another form of censorship and denial of the U.S. Constitution

not allowing the comment section to stay on is censorship quote from movie American President: "America isn't easy. America is advanced citizenship. You've gotta want it bad, 'cause it's gonna put up a fight. It's gonna say, "You want free speech? Let's see you acknowledge a man whose words make your blood boil, who's standing center stage and advocating at the top of his lungs that which you would spend a lifetime opposing at the top of yours." You want to claim this land as the land of the free? Then the symbol of your country cannot just be a flag. The symbol also has to be one of its citizens exercising his right to burn that flag in protest. Now show me that, defend that, celebrate that in your classrooms. Then, you can stand up and sing about the land of the free.

I see you have yet to put back the comment section. How long is this "temporary" suspension going to last? I'm guessing it will be after January 20th and Biden, Big Tech and yourselves can completely control the narrative. That is, obviously what you are trying to do by "suspending" the comment section. You are part of the Big Tech takeover. That's shameful. America is based on free speech. If people argue in your comment section, so what. That's America. At least, it used to be America.

The comment section will never return because yahoo, even though it is a PUBLIC domain, likes to block the 1st amendment RIGHTS of people unless it has to do with the rich and wealthy or BLM or politics from their point of view instead of allowing people to speak what is on their minds. Nothing but a bunch of fascism.

the limited return is lackluster, if you plan on approving posts you better be faster at it. and quit worrying about every person who can't handle words.
