this was done because of the up coming election..... It is part of the Silicon Valleys push to stop people from expressing their own opinion....It"s the same on all the mass media run by the leftest..... I will be dumping Yahoo as they are nothing but left wing socialist

Very disappointed Yahoo has chosen to suspend it's comment. Especially considering the biased articles Yahoo chooses to publish on it's site. No balance in perspectives. I find articles on both sides worth reading to understand everyone's views; regardless if I agree or not. To be news worthy a balanced view should be presented. Considering Yahoo primarily wants to publish articles that are far reaching, and very left of center, it would be worthy and appropriate to have a comment section to balance the article to some degree.

The public needs to openly be allow to comment on what the News Media is putting in front of us! Whether Yahoo likes of dislikes what is said leads on to believe that they are a Far Left News Commentary!!!

Who's afraid of trolls? Ya-WHOOOOO! Seriously, If you knew who your customer base really is, you would probably change things back. Ya see.. reading news and commenting in a forum based format is something older internet users do... Today's generation is all about live streaming, youtube channels, and social platforms. Ever see someone reach for their phone to film something for Yahoo (NO!).. this is where we come to half read articles, then troll each other accordingly.. that is what pays your bills! If you take our fun away, why even bother coming here? We already know what you're gonna write about, I mean after four years of reading that Trump is worse than the antichrist.. we get it, you dont like him! We dont care, its not why we visit this site.

Yes, you have a point. I find that I'm paying for an e-mail service package and the server has been allowed to deny a portion of that paid service on my end and it appears to enable a denial of freedom of speech and the press. While I enjoy Yahoo News, Yahoo should reconsider it on and off again comment policy and/or it should be left up to a government authorized telecommunications panel to review and arbitrate.

Either shut down your web site or grow a pair and open up the comment section again!!!! Guessing you don't know much about our American history, but her in the good old America we have the power of FREEDOM OF SPEECH!!! What gives you the right to stop our God given right... Man up and open up! Or shut down we don't need you...

The comment section gave attention to Yahoo News. Without it, there is no attraction. Ordinary News is everywhere

Bring back commenting immediately. Yahoo has determined that their stories are the law of the land and commenting would only discredit the authors. Well Yahoo, your authors are a biased vindictive bunch of bastards and your act is cowardly and censorship/ BRING BACK COMMENTING because it is the correct thing to do,,,Ethically and Morally.

Put back comment section. I don't know why I was required to sign in to Yahoo again when I was already signed in, and I am not familiar with the UserVoice system. This feels like some kind of restriction of my ability to give feedback on Yahoo articles. Like many others, I may be looking for a new place to read news and give feedback, which means that Yahoo will no longer be my homepage and I will no longer access Yahoo. I think that would be unfortunate, please bring back the comments section!!!

Pat Connaughton commented
With the writers you use and their personal agendas we are often not getting the true story but a purposefully misleading article to push the writers opinion. With the comments, oftentimes commenters would give links to the full story which most often differs greatly from that of the Yahoo writer. I believe that is why Yahoo removed the comments section in the first place; so that Yahoo could push their own propaganda without anyone being able to question it or prove it wrong. I've had enough of your lopsided news reporting. Better to do without than be brainwashed by a news source with nothing but their own agenda to push.
