Yahoo News leaning left
Under current Yahoo leadership I have witnessed a distinct tilt to the left in reporting, story selection. It is imperative that your news pages reflect a unbiased and balanced reportage. At the moment they do not! You have strayed from the tenets of journalism in favor of endorsing a left leaning ideology. As a long time Yahoo fan I am disappointed. You have taken sides and are now alienating over one half of the US population. Big mistake.

hmmm. Guess the problem goes both ways. I (try to)voice liberal opinions and they consistently get rejected, including simple messages like "TEST" or "Hello World"
thats not fairness, maybe it happens because of random disqualification based upon the mean/average opinion in the comments that some LLM triangulates, then the LLM disqualifies the outliers, so reinforcing the prevailing sentiment (AKA "Echo Chamber")
too many outliers and you suffer a defacto 'banned' status, where nothing you post gets accepted.
editors with this sort of policy are tools

This isn't news this has been going on for quite a long time at Yahoo. They've used the excuse that things were getting out of hand in the comments in order to squash our 1st amendment rights. They censor just about everything with their algorithms. I have a list of over 50 words that are no longer allowed. This is Big Brother all over again including the Double Duck Speak. Soon they will be changing history to fall in with their agenda.

With the way they've behaved for over a decade, now, it's truly astonishing that Yahoo has any conservative readers left. I know they are bleeding us out, but I'm amazed at how hard they still try to get rid of us. They do desperately need a competitor, and I hope Twitter will prove to be that, especially now that Twitter is also getting Tucker Carlson. Twitter needs to start doing email and news articles with comments as well. In case you don't know what the numbers mean, this comment is number one in the reader feedback priorities list, Yahoo... and number 3 and number 5, etc. This concern is the top voted one, as it has been for over a decade, with your readers. It's amazing that, in all this time, no other tech company has just decided to fill in this obvious gap in the market.

Here we are 8 years later things have only gotten worse on how hard Yahoo has leaned to the Left. I used to have the huffpost, the root, and most of the left leaning sites blocked from showing up. Now yahoo has dropped that option and has force fed my timeline with most of the blocked sites. Its a shame what yahoo has become.

I too have seen more and more leftist propaganda and less actual factual articles. The Root is one of the most slanted media yahoo posts articles for

Yahoo is an aggregate site that presents news from many sources - including FOX. If news coverage happens to include right wingers behaving badly, blaming Yahoo is rather like blaming weather reporters for forecasting storms.

Yahoo has always been on the left of journalism and I have always found it non professional. Journalist are to be un biased and allow the new to be what it is. When commenting, yes it is important to be civil but sometimes things get heated but in this format nothing can happen so babysitting comments is not Yahoo's job. People sometimes need to blow off steam and Yahoo is like a mother hen trying to keep things calm. The biggest problem with that is that they allow the more liberal commenters to say what they please while reigning in the conservatives. Their censorism is very unfair not to mention unnecessary. When you think about it it's none of their business what people say to each other in order to make a point. They now have people commenting as if they all graduated from Harvard all rethinking the same thoughts but in a different manner. You can call a pig a rabbit but it will always be a pig.

I dislike it greatly. No ***** would be best. We are not all on the same page, so why bother to alienate anyone?

People used to be able to offset slanted articles via the comments section. Yahoo News used to be pretty decent with the comments section. Now, the only thing bringing me to Yahoo is a junk email account I use maybe once every couple months. Open up comments.

Soni Ortiz is an obvious victim. You should seek help learning how to disseminate fact from fiction. Yahoo is an OBVIOUS leftist liberal company which disqualifies them from being able to report whole truths and instead only reports tidbits that make Democrats look favorable leaving out whole stories or they simply lie. Russian hoax, Ukraine Hoax, lie after lie all the leftist told reading the same script. Shameful ignorance on Democrat citizens is what keeps it perpetrated and is causing real harm to innocent Americans. Grow up.

What are you talking about? The truth cannot tell a lie and does not have sides. It is just nothing but the truth! And Yahoo News is reporting the truth.
As for them not reporting everything happening in the world to your liking, then perhaps you could start your own news feed. After-all there is many social networks out there to get you started.

Hey Yahoo!
Is it true that before Elon Musk bought out Twitter he looked @YAHOO! and said:
"Thanks, but no thanks!!!"
Is it true that @Yahoo! is now considered across multiple Social Media platforms as the "National Enquirer" of the Internet?

Hey Yahoo, are you paying attention to this Number 1 ranked feedback? Try posting political news and viewpoints with feedback from both the left and the right. Side by side articles posted from both sides. This would allow viewers a chance to easily and quickly read both points of view and make an educated decision. Here's an idea, call it "The educated reader"!

Yahoo "news" is a total joke. All of your so-called "news stories" are nothing but left-wing supporting propaganda. You should be ashamed to call yourselves a news outlet. You are NOT NEWS! If you were, why aren't you running on the proof that Hillary Clinton is behind the Russia collusion narrative? It just came out yesterday yet, there is not one article on Yayhoo "news" talking about it. I'll tell you why: You don't ever want to say anything against any democrat. EVER!!!! Especially, Hillary Clinton. This is just more proof that you are nothing but a democratic mouthpiece and will stop at nothing to promote their hate and divide. You are disgusting.

You are so far off base and all over the map with your posts that you have zero credibility. You have misplaced opinion for Trump supporters for wacko loony liberals. Anyone that See's Trump supporters as the problem in America is an uneducated minion. If you cannot see how screwed up Democrats make this country then you should be wearing a helmet. -

I agree with this comment and I also have been a long time fan of Yahoo but I am not the fan I was. I still use the email function and the search engine but I am very disappointed in the left leaning biased ***** that has been taken. I listen to a lot of talk radio and I get more unbiased news from that avenue than any other. I hope one day that this is no longer the case and that I will be able to trust the news you post in the future.
