Rejecting of comments
Telling someone that their comment was meanspirited, should have not resulted with a rejection to post. There are some insulting and demeaning comments that definitely should have been rejected, but weren't. But, Hey Yahoo, it's your platform! I'm out!

Hi. Here are some reasons why your comments may be flagged: - Language (Examples may include: all caps, inappropriate words, etc.) - Suspicious IP - Any Image In order to create the best possible experience for everyone, we request that you abide by the Yahoo Community Guidelines, our core code of conduct, in all of your activities on Yahoo Services. I have had great difficulty determining what constitutes offensive speech in my posts. It appears one term that is being blocked is "Fire Retardants". I would appreciate greater transparency on what is tripping the algorithm. I think you also need an AI to do this rather than a poorly constructed algorithm. Fire Retardants are a serious issue, as these polybrominated diphenyl ethers have done a lot of damage to children.

Conversation about female ******* mutilation should not be censored. Not everyone is interested in posting ignorant comments.

Stop the Censorship and Understand that people will have differing opinions. Enforce the rules EQUALLY and FAIRLY instead of censoring every post that someone else "feels" offended by. People have no right to go through life "unoffended" and having their fragile weak opinions protected

Please explain why this comment was rejected ...
RE : "'Super bloom' swarms force California city to say no more"
"Your comment has been rejected.

Elitist California liberal bureaucrats using an ultra rare Black Swan event from FOUR years ago to violate the public trust and deny the public access to public lands. A Californian needs to sue the scat out of that jurisdiction, but Californians just sheepishly accept government overreach and surrender rights without protest. Unless of course the MAGA dogwhistle were attached to this California town's government."
Other than the SUBJECTIVE sociopolitical bias of the Yahoo! censor, I can see no reason why this post was censored.
Yahoo!, please explain your OBJECTIVE reason for blocking the comment.

Hello, I found many times that posts can be made to an article and then when you go to reply to someone the post disappears when you try to view it. Also the lack of responses would indicate no else is seeing them also. None the post violate the rules of yahoo, and do not have anything offensive in them. I have no idea why Yahoo is doing this, or if this is Personal against my account. But I FEEL this needs to stop, just because you're a private company doesn't mean you can just do anything you want without consequences, you are only turning people against you by playing dictator because you can. People both on the left and right are getting tired of this and I know I am not alone. Basically stop censoring me and others!

Yahoo's comment section is virtually useless. It has no concept of context and simply bans posts based on what it thinks is an offensive term. If Yahoo has an AI, it must have been written on a Commodore 64.

You wonder why 20% of your staff is getting let go. This is a good example of why.

Yesterday my post on the Italian language was rejected because I used the correct Italian technical term for pausing slightly on two consonants appearing together in Italian words. Apparently, the term was confused for an English slur for mental illness. That word is spelled differently and has no connection with the Italian word referenced. You might try using some discernment in your rejections. You make yourself look like fools sometimes.

I was unfairly banned without reason! I am going to protest as a member for over 20 years and have never been banned until now. The subject matter of police and black men was very personal to me as I have been treated badly myself for my color and race!

I was never warned about any violation when I didn't do anything but continue to repost a comment and yet the white people know that black men are targeted a lot and trying to follow comments while getting beat is hard and you may run to get away from the assault

I remember Prince Harry saying in a short interview with a journalist: "I love my brother to pieces,
which is saying: "I will fall apart if something terrible happens to someone that I love so much. If that is what he feels for his brother he should attend the coronation, hugging his brother and father and let his heart sing: "I love you both to pieces. -

THIS FEEDBACK IS TO YAHOO Corporation: By Yahoo allowing Comments to published articles you are knowingly spreading and magnifying the mass hatred USA people have. I realize that Yahoo makes its living off these human weaknesses, but Yahoo must control its own greed, and cease publishing obviously salacious pseudo-journalism. Albeit nearly all internet journalism is salacious. If Yahoo cannot govern itself effective, this mass hatred in USA will soon reach critical point and have massive death orientated results. I can hear you saying it is not only Yahoo, and it is not Yahoo's responsibility. To me that is no excuse and shows dishonesty, weakness, and moral corruptness. If Yahoo greed is more important than our USA democracy, unity and national existence, then Yahoo deserves whatever punishment comes during subsequent violent catastrophe.
