Rejecting of comments
Telling someone that their comment was meanspirited, should have not resulted with a rejection to post. There are some insulting and demeaning comments that definitely should have been rejected, but weren't. But, Hey Yahoo, it's your platform! I'm out!

Hi. Here are some reasons why your comments may be flagged: - Language (Examples may include: all caps, inappropriate words, etc.) - Suspicious IP - Any Image In order to create the best possible experience for everyone, we request that you abide by the Yahoo Community Guidelines, our core code of conduct, in all of your activities on Yahoo Services. For more information, please view our community guidelines: https://legal.yahoo.com/us/en/yahoo/guidelines/index.html

You seem to have no problem censoring my comments in general and I know that it is because I am a Republican, because all of the Dem/woke/liberal replies I get that are sarcastic, bullying or just plan out of line you let through without a thought, but I reply to a news story or give a replier a mean come back and you censor it, but not there's. Does the word hypocrite mean anything to you? Probably not.

My only comment is to affirm how important I think Yahoo has become to the way our society works, from the highest to the humblest levels. In that sense it is one vitally important way that the most damaging potentials of the wealth dichotomy are being, at least partially, countervailed. It would be difficult to overstate the importance of the service Yahoo provides.

Please read this. It's the comment I posted after doing considerable research:
“The evidence given is anecdotal. Some who like big issues kept plain may take comfort in it, but I would not want our government to do so.
We have spent billions putting extremely expensive equipment in space around our planet with the specific intent of getting more accurate data about what the troposphere and the oceans are up to. We have also spent billions on super-sophisticated computer modeling to chew on the data that space-based systems provide.
The ocean surface is turbulent, so there isn't such a thing as absolute sea level. What scientists use to keep an eye on what is happening is a reference base called Global Mean Surface Level, which is the aggregated product of huge amounts of ongoing altimetric data collection done by special satellites. Computers make subtle corrections for the water vapor condition of the atmospheric traverse of the light pulses used and compile the results into a model which is then compared to a reference base called the Geoid (basically where everything would be if absolute dead calm persisted everywhere).
By this means, over time, a bigger picture emerges.
In general, the science has held up pretty **** well, but ideological interference from political, religious, business and change-phobic interests has made it difficult for our government to act on the product of the investments it has made in this area of information technology.
This could prove to be very unfortunate for many.”
All of it is absolutely true. Yet your moderator algorithm claimed people could be offended by it. Does this mean you are censoring facts that some people find inconvenient? I have run into this several times before, despite being careful with my use of speech.
Inadvertently, you could be sacrificing valuable contribution with the use of this algorithm - the same algorithm that allowed another commenter to refer to Democratic Party legislators as “idiots”. If you, reading this, are a human being, know that we genuinely appreciate your efforts. I just think the algorithm needs to be better, otherwise people we could benefit hearing from are going to stop participating.

You should abolish comments if the only side you are going to permit to comment is the one that reads the Daily Worker or Pravda. What is WRONG with you people? Are you not Americans? Do you not believe in the 1st Amendment? Why do love the "woke" so much that you suppress any opposing comment? NOT ONE OF MY COMMENTS was unacceptable to anyone engaging in free thinking. Look at ALL of them (I know you have all 5 attempts on record). Wait till YOU aren't permitted to post stories or information or ANYTHING that you want to, but have to submit it for approval first, or are ordered not to. The you will see the Genie you helped get out of the bottle. But then it will be too late for you.

"So sayeth the fascist who wants to institute a one-party (fascist of course) rule on the US." - Ann K's post maligning me & on the recent Ohio Education Thread (4/6/23). I wasn't allowed to reply after 4 or 5 edits & even starting fresh w. an even more most innocuous comment. Anyone of my comment attempts would've been acceptable on "Mr. Rogers". I couldn't even report it as a personal attack! Why defend (& of course, protect & hand- hold them. Coddle them & their sensitivities) the "woke" & suppress the rational?

Again You are censoring me because I talk to the working class about how this government and the elites in this country screws them? That makes you NAZI's. And your new sub class of humans the working class.

The fact that yahoo can post articles that tear communities apart but not a single ‘journalist’, if you even want to call them that seeing as most of them have their liberal arts degrees, can cover the 9 soldiers who died in a helicopter crash. Pay your respect, yahoo, to those who allow you to abuse your censorship privileges along with your first amendment rights

Stop using the ambiguous "Violates community standards" to violate our 1st amendment rights provided that vulgarity or threats are not involved!

It is a comment section. Normal comments should be allowed.

A better explanation of the criteria used for censoring speech in this forum would make this a better product for everyone. The following comment was recently censored for no apparent reason that I can ascertain. Here is the censored comment in its entirety: "It doesn't sound like this was about marijuana. It sounds personal. Government employees have too much power, with very little accountability."

All of my comments are getting rejected for no reason....immediately... as soon as I post them...
AI is saying they don't align with the community standards. Please fix the glitch. -

Your censorship is evil. You let Leftists slide with their evil posts and do not allow any retort. Your evil must be stopped!!!

For this article, "White Mississippi Meteorologist Off Air After Saying ‘Fo Shizzle, My Nizzle’ violates the community guidelines and has been rejected" this comment was rejected: "I am literally wearing a Dogg Father T as I type this. I love Snoop. And while I understand the etymology of the phrase, IMHO it is more a shout out to Snoop than anything. I do not use the n word (except in very rare cases of exaggerated satire) but I use Snoop's catch phrase (used to more) and never have equated it with the n word." Yahoo's commenting system is absolutely garbage.

When comments were suspended, it was due to Trump coming into power. Since you have allowed comments in current posts, every time a statement has been put up for review, it is a factual statement that shows Trump for what and who he is. A crook and villain. Pure facts.
