Rejecting of comments
Telling someone that their comment was meanspirited, should have not resulted with a rejection to post. There are some insulting and demeaning comments that definitely should have been rejected, but weren't. But, Hey Yahoo, it's your platform! I'm out!

I had my comment rejected because I pasted the ex-president's own words....why should it be rejected when you posted it in your article?????

Today I copy&pasted tRump's own words from your article as my comment and it was rejected by your moderators as having unacceptable wording. How am I suppose to deal with that???

If it is offensive to someone on your team, it may not be for who it is intended. or anyone else for that matter.

I have read and reread your community standards and have been taking great care to avoid using offensive or inflammatory language, yet virtually all of my comments are being blocked, no matter how innocuous. In fact, Yahoo routinely publishes articles the content of which is much more biased and divisive than anything I have tried to post. I am seriously considering dropping all Yahoo services and switching to another email and news content provider that has more respect for its users.

Why do you people keep rejecting my comments when there is no bad language in them? Have you people ever heard of the first amendment, freedom of speech? Ring any bells?

I have had every comment I made over the last couple weeks denied, no explanation. I have not been insulting, threatening or going off topic at all, Have not made it political even. Would love to know what is going on, I have seen comments allowed that are insulting while I am denied, have I somehow been flagged to just have everything auto denied?

This happens way too much.
I've read comments from others in the comment section that gripe about it too.
Bias is one thing.
Slimy cowardice is another thing entirely.
I ask you yahoo, "What are afraid of? Lil ol me?"
Hahahahahaaaaa -

Right as commenting is closing, some of my comments have been rejected. I don't even get the opportunity to fix any before commenting closes. Happens to responses I make too.
Also happens to comments and responses I report for nastines or false info. For some reason the comment or response will be reinstated with the false information, make yahoo news look bad. I know that image means nothing to "journalism", but seriously have a backbone. Deleting comments and responses right before the bell so they can't be adjusted is cowardice. -

Apparently I'm not alone.

Here are the two sentences being rejected both are factual, neither is obscene so other then the algorithm needing an adjustment or if there is a live reviewer with a political agenda,
fascist Germany burned books by Helen Keller, Jack London and Ernest Hemingway.
Republicans are banning books by Helen Keller, Jack London and Ernest Hemingway. What an interesting parallel. -

This sentence was copied and pasted from your yahoo article, Black woman who was handcuffed while naked after police officers were sent to the wrong address. If this is considered offensive then to put it in your article to begin with.

I feel my statements were edited because "Yahoo" censors disapproved of them. They were both wholly truthful and contained no obscene language, yet they were never printed. This is not the way of a free society.

I would like true free speech to prevail on Yahoo. Both the second half of a comment I made concerning your article on Harrison Ford's view that people should be free to punch out Nazis and a reply I made to a comment dealing with Jocelyn Chia's MH370 joke were both censored. I would like to know why.

Please reinstate me. It has been over a year. I will play nice, I promise.

Come on now. I comment with a GIF (Emoji) that you guys supply and my comment still has to be approved? What kind of nonsense is that?

Apparently saying "I hope it's a fair trial" is a violation of the Yahoo comments policy. Cuz I post, and then it's removed. and help offers absolutely NOTHING on how to address Yahoo about this other than buying Yahoo+ and then calling. So, pay money. Prove me wrong Yahoo, give me some kind of idea what was wrong with my posts.
