Yahoo News leaning left
Under current Yahoo leadership I have witnessed a distinct tilt to the left in reporting, story selection. It is imperative that your news pages reflect a unbiased and balanced reportage. At the moment they do not! You have strayed from the tenets of journalism in favor of endorsing a left leaning ideology. As a long time Yahoo fan I am disappointed. You have taken sides and are now alienating over one half of the US population. Big mistake.

Any article that doesn't bash or blame POTUS is labeled too liberal. If they want the usual hate spewage then go to Redstate or Breitbart.

Conservatives always whine and ***** about "liberal" bias, particularly in the media. So what if Yahoo does have a liberal approach to news, there are a thousand more conservative news outlets out there for rednecks than "liberals." Problem with conservatives is they are actually fascists and believe all media should be controlled by the "right" elements of American society...meaning fascist, dictatorial, and 1984-style censorship for all. American conservatism claims to want a society free of government, but are the first to call for censorship of speech and ideas that don't adhere strictly to their beliefs. Hypocrites, all.

Way too many "articles" from Salon, Vox, Huffington Post and other liberal "news" sources. Seldom has there been much available from more conservative sources. If news is news, then bias is bias, and it's obvious that Yahoo "News" is biased in favor of liberal stories. And stories, they are--facts are few and far between in many of these pieces.

I agree, there seems to be a strong liberal bent, perhaps not so much in the news articles themselves but definitely in the op-ed type pieces that Yahoo promotes on its news feed.
Too much content from unabashedly liberal sites like TakePart, and lately my feed has been blown up by Mic especially. You get a few counterpoints like Daily Caller, but its nowhere near balanced. And then you have Yahoo News' original op-ed content like Matt Bai and Katie Couric with no real conservative counterpoint on staff.
I get that there's a slight liberal bias in the media at large, and that's going to show on Yahoo's news feed since its just basically an aggregator. But I wish the op-ed stuff was clearly differentiated, it used to come with an "op-ed" flag at least ...maybe even have a separate tab for an op-ed piece feed, separate from the feed of actual reporting.

This is apparently just another comment section for people to disagree on. Does yahoo really use the comments or just sit and laugh at posters?

News reporting on yahoo seems to be by amateurs with a leftist attitude. I don't care if your faux journalists have an opinion. Report just the news already!

The .Mic articles are dreadful. Not reporting at all, just propaganda.

I made the same exact comment on Fox News' website...They told me to go to yahoo

Anonymous obviously does not believe in being open to more than one side of an issue. We all see through our own lenses when you are liberal or conservative.....but this country is changed by all the division created by many.......and those that are not willing to see anything but what is told to them

Absolutely agree! I check Yahoo to see what the liberals are saying. It would be smarter if you had articles showing a different "spin" to be credible

Well, reality does have a well known liberal bias [:)

THIS IS NOT A VALID COMPLAINT. ALL YOU RIGHTWINGERS GO TO FOX NEWS AND STOP COMPLAINING.

I wish Yahoo would grow some nuts and represent both sides with NO bias.

I can accept opinion pieces if they are so identified and if there is a reasonable effort made to present both sides on an issue. What I have a problem with is Yahoo's repeated "cut and paste" journalism where an article is just linked to from a wildly biased source, almost always Progressive, and presented as news with no serious effort to present a dissenting opinion. Better yet would be to separate serious news (Huffington Post is not news) from op-ed.

Judging by how many of these "stop printing liberal news" are in the top ranked suggestions, it seems like there are a lot of conservatives here.
GO. SOMEWHERE. ELSE.
If you want conservative biased internet news, FOX HAS ITS OWN SITE. Have you nutjobs never heard of Breitbart? -

And if Anonymous stood next to an ape, the ape would appear intelligent.

Compared to news organizations like FOX, Yahoo certainly would appear to be liberal.
Kind of like, if I want to look skinny, I stand next to fat people.

I disagree with this poster. Just because Yahoo doesn't post that Obama is a Muslim or that there is a "war on Christianity" does not make it liberal. Should Yahoo only report the daily mass shorrtings as the "mental health issue" that could have been prevented if everyone was packing heat? That does not make it unbiased, that makes it a talking point of the NRA. You can get this info from the politicians that they purchase, not from respected journalists.
