AP has written several sensationalist stores of ultra-Orthodox Jews spitting at Christians in Israel. The stories were slanted and prejudicial and created many anti-semitic responses. There was NO context as to WHY these Orthodox Jews might do this, no mention of 2000 years of Christian persecution and violence. The onus was on the Jews alone. WHY? I also notice a LACK of reporting of Muslim persecution of Christians where murders and the burning of churches are common. Far more serious than spitting. The Yahoo News articles are fine. The comment section is vile and full of mis/disinformation and hate. You would do well to disable/remove this part of your site. Keeping it as it is--even with "community guidelines"--does absolutely nothing of worth, and simply invites trolls, fascists, liars, and scum.

Please help - if you check yahoo France, there is little coverage of ukraine and it is almost pro russian.
Instead I have to navigate to yahoo UK or yahoo US to get decent coverage on Ukraine though I live in France,.

The press constantly says Israeli settlements are illegal according to international law. Why? Does this apply to Tibet which is occupied by China or north Cyprus occupied by Turkey or Crimea occupied by Russia. Did it apply to Jordan's illegal occupation of the "West Bank" from 1948-1967? If not, why not? Why is it illegal to settle in territory a nation acquired in a DEFENSIVE war? In 1967, Jordan invaded Israel in the Six Day War, correct? How about an article against Arab apartheid?
Palestinians are discriminated against in every Arab county except Jordan. They are barred from citizenship, employment, government services, buying property. It strikes me they live under a separate set of laws in Arab countries. This is apartheid, and it is inflicted by their supposed brethren. In the meantime, Israel is accused of apartheid while residents of the West Bank and Gaza are NOT Israeli citizens and are ruled by the Palestinian Authority and Hamas. Israel treated injured Syrians during Syrian civil war.
During the Syrian civil war, Israel had a field hospital at the border that treated thousands of injured and sick Syrians. Severely injured were transferred to city hospitals. How about a good feeling piece that shows compassion and cooperation in the Middle East and not just hatred and negativity? Israel also allows Palestinians into Israel for medical care. Sadly, the opposite is not true. Let's give credit where credit is due.

It is so simple. Don't offer gifs to attach to your comments that you (Yahoo) are going to censor. For example, the one of Donald Trump with his teenage daughter, Ivanka Trump, sitting on his lap. What is the purpose if you are just going to turn around and reject the whole post? Many gifs also say something that is censored when typed by the user... such as "loser".
