Expanding use of Advertisement Tag
I am relatively new to Yahoo News and use it frequently now that I am retired. The convention of marking items as advertisement is appreciated since it lets me triage effectively.
It would be even better if you added this tag to news items that tell you nothing more when you click on them except the subscription rate if you want to learn more, e.g., most Baron headlines. These are particularly annoying.
Thanks for listening!

Please include the state when posting articles from local newspapers that don't mention it.
Many articles on Yahoo are from localized newspapers. As such, they mention the city/town and maybe a county of a news event but NOT the state. It would be nice to know where an event took place w/o extensive searching.

Hide topics
I would like to customize my news feed by hiding keywords like Trump and DeSantis. I'm so freaking sick of articles about those losers. But also work great for Kardashians

Allow options to customize the page.
I hate the big "360 Perspective" box that takes up space at the top right. Also, it w/b nice to add the same kind of extension Google News has - called "Good News" to disable seeing some topics. The page is not pleasing to the eye.

repetitive articles on newspage.
repeating the same articles over and over on the news page doesn't do anything to make this section any better. It only irritates one who has to scroll the page to find a new article. Kinda like me doing thissssssssssssssssssssssssssssss. Only makes it seem like more

When refreshing the page and you were scrolled down from the top, it used to reset to the top. I prefer that behavior.

Melinda Willis from married at first sight assaulted me.
Good day.
I am a South African Indian citizen, my name is Justin Dass and I was assaulted by Melinda.
I see that you have reported on her when she was on married at first site.
We both worked for the same company "Steiner Leisure" the incident took place in Nassau Bahamas. I do have witnesses to the incident. We all worked for the same company.
It was 10 years ago but it still effects me to this day.
She threw a glass at my face cutting it open and has gotten away with till now.

Can no longer use Yahoo with my students; quit the slide to being like the National Enquirer
I am a teacher who just opened the general Yahoo page and was greeted by a photo of a topless woman on your front page. How about acting more like a news service and less like the National Enquirer in picking your headline news? I do log into my account and have modified it to remove celebrity news, lifestyle, and entertainment info for my personal use, but I am frustrated that I can no longer recommend your search engine and main webpage to my students for use, something that I did for almost 2 decades. Stop with the sensationalism!

Is it possible to disable or hide commenting in news articles in yahoo?
While I do support a free exchange of ideas, I also understand that online commenting can be toxic at times. Is there an option where users can decide if they want to see comments, or if they can be disabled? If not, can one be considered?

Please include https://al-jazirah.org into Yahoo! News for blockchain & crypto-related news
Please consider including smartereum.com as a news source in Yahoo! News. The site https://al-jazirah.org provides daily news on blockchain and crypto related topics. This is a hot topic that I'm sure a number of Yahoo users will be interested in. Thanks.

Allow us to email the Yahoo News reporters/authors regarding Yahoo articles.
Allow us the ability to email the authors of the Yahoo created articles. Having comments is fine but they never get seen by the authors. In my case Yahoo posts "Amazon Deals" and when you go to click and take part of the deal, the price is not what the article lists. Other Yahoo news also needs a way to submit corrections, comments, and critique.

Why is every page replaced with a full page ad that cannot be closed. It’s terrible.
