Review and Edit before Posting
Someone needs to edit grammar and spelling on the Obama girls outfits: "The Look Amazing" What! How about "They Look Amazing" English is going down the tubes in the US. So sad.

Inappropriate Headline
Dear Yahoo News, the following headline appeared on your home page news feed, "James Gandolfini Did Anything for Tony Soprano, Including Pretending to ********." This headline is completely inappropriate for mainstream news viewing.

Block button
II do not like seeing any animal cruelty stories, and I had them all blocked until you changed yahoo ( yet again). Now I can find no way to block them, there is a love button but not a block button. If you don
t make it so I can block things I don
t want to see, I will change my home page to something else, and use a different search engine. Please Yahoo change it back to the way it was before, or at least show me how to block storys I don

Bad grammar makes me immediately stop reading and dismiss the articles entirely.
Can someone at YAHOO use spell and grammar check before posting articles? It makes me think that you are too ignorant to know what you are writing about.

Editing Comments
If you are going to edit my comments on your Yahoo news articles at the very least you should spell correctly and not leave out words. For a while I thought others were not typing correctly or using poor grammar then realized you were doing the same to them.
Please hire people who can read. -
Remove Isis articles
Remove ISIS execution articles from the news page. Are you siding with them? Don't give them front page coverage if you aren't . Oh and by the way it's nice that a woman is the head of yahoo, but I counted and only 5 of the 17 executives on the Who we are page are women. You had me fooled this whole time thinking this was a progressive company.

Stop putting the F bomb on the front page. REALLY????
You have the F word right on the front page. Seriously Yahoo? I have middle schoolers who use your forum for homework requirements. This today: "Bernie Sanders is the Worst Presidential Candidate in History, and You and All Your Friends are Idiots
Dear Bernie Sanders supporters: Wake the **** up. Sorry to be so blunt..." Sorry??? Come on people. And we wonder what's wrong with our society. Zero filter anymore. -
Remove profanity
Make sure there is not profanity published on the news home page, like article, "Freakish eel-like sea creature shows up on Australian beach" that included one of the most offensive words in the first line of the article. Found at 0900 on 16 February 2016.

Monitor foul slang words used to spread hate.
When yahoo has posted articles regarding transgender community it has continued to allow foul language and slang in its comment section. When you monitor stories regarding other minorities why bother to remove nasty and foul comments. I read several articles regarding transgender individuals as well as scrolling the comment section. It is obvious that yahoo nor its many of its commenter’s care to learn about others. The comment section was full of nasty remarks and the word "Tranny". Some a very few in the transgender community may embrace the word but it has a negative connotation similar to other words…

No need to use vulgar language in article description. Children know how to read too, and using terms like 'shitstorm' is wrong
On the frontage of a yahoo news today was a link to an Esquire article about Scott Walker, and the description of the story called it a shitstorm. Children read the Internet, and don't need language like this. The author apparently cannot come up with better terminology, there are several good websites dealing in antonyms and synonyms.

Better editing
Yahoo news is consistently plagued with typos, formatting issues and references to unrelated material. Take today's issue. Quotes appeared as @s over a photo and a seemingly random Wikipedia reference about Facebook was coupled with a story about Apple that made no reference to Facebook. In addition, another Wikipedia reference included what seemed to be the start of another sentence from the entry that could not have been attended. That's all in one fairly small publication and in my opinion inexcusable. I downloaded the yahoo news app at first because of Katie courics affiliation but either she has no editorial…

Stop saying things are "jaw dropping"
Please make your writers stop using the terms "jaw dropping" or "will drop your jaw" those are the most ridiculous and overused phrases ever!!!!!

Article titled "Freakish eel-like sea creature shows up on Australian beach" has profanity within the teaser!?!?!?
Whatever algorithm you are using to bring in news articles should exclude any with 4 letter words. Especially in the teaser!!!

I will be Blocking Yahoo from all our computers due to the vulgar language that is being used on here now. Children can see this sight.
The vulgar language being used on Yahoo here recently is tasteless and void of any class at all. Yahoo is now blocked from all my computers.
I have noticed the trend of very progressive & "poor" journalism on Yahoo news. The language is merely a byproduct of the amateur and dumbed downed writings. -
