Coming up on 5 and a half months. Is commenting going to be re-enabled on news articles about the country's events or is it gone for good?
I guess that people of different persuasions not being able to have dialogue with each other on here is a "safe" solution but I wouldn't call this a community....

Its time for Yahoo to allow us to comment on articles again. If you don't like alternative opinions, don't post articles that are partisan.
Let us comment on articles again. If people need a "safe" place because they are afraid of being offended, let them go hide in the corner of a library, because they aren't ready to be adults.

Removing the ability to comment cripples Yahoo News.
Comments can provide additional context, details, updates, and different perspectives on the news. Banning comments curtails a vital and necessary check on the reporting of news, and it's long past time to bring comments back. If you don't like the content of certain comments, then give us the ability to hide them through community action.

The comment section needs to be brought back.
Honestly, it is not at all right that news media can use their forum to perpetuate lies and distortions based upon their biased reports. Yahoo is clearly a very liberal news outlet - and I am not criticizing you for that. Fox is the very conservative format. However, I have seen some disgusting distortions in your news articles and they need to be corrected. The comment section allows true news to be brought forth if people chose to seek truth out. Sure, some people abuse it with their ridiculousness, and that is done by the full political spectrum. Regardless, please…

First, read what your users want! Open comments on all articles
Why do liberal sites ban comments, because they don't like to be proven wrong. Yahoo is a trash site without comments. Their news is distorted and skewed to their agenda with misleading headlines and facts left out. These morons only serve their agenda and do not believe others have a right, and can't stand it when commentors are able to factually disprove their articles.

Actually allow me to look at it, with my ad blocker in use.
I will not visit your site, as it requires me to disable my ad blocker to even view one line of the article. You then load multiple video ads, which mean I can't concentrate on the story. I have epilepsy as well, so flicking ads are a danger.
I can't close the ads, as you just load another one.
Even giving this feedback is a joke. I have to sign in, stuff around. What a total joke.

MEMORIAL DAY
This Memorial Day, I am saddened, disgusted and angry that the lead story on yahoo is about democrats losing the attempt to have an investigation of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. I realize that the bulk of your organization is progressive and hate America, but show some respect for the ones that even allowed you to have that right. You are sad, sad people. God Bless, Rob Littell

Less clickbait titles?
I have followed Yahoo news for years. The last year or so, it has become less news, and more and more tabloid. Titles of news articles have titles stretched, or appear to be just fake. Mind you, this is not all of them, but it is a growing amount.
If in fact your purchasing articles, who is proof reading them.752nd ranked -
Reinstate "comments". Not nearly as entertaining.
Bring back "comments section. O now spend 75% less time on Yahoo than previously. Change back soon or I'll move to Google as my home page. Thanks...

Stop focusing on race in every single story!!!! Should read "Woman Intervenes" not "Black Woman Intervenes".
Why do you guys care about nothing but race? Why is every single story that features an African American only focused on race? You guys are what is wrong. People are just people not defined by thier race. The fact that you have to have this explained to you guys should make you guys ashamed of yourselves.
