Bring back "start active player" button
This is the number one reason my league had grown/exists. Over 50% of my players started or play because they were told the commitment was low just a draft and a once weekly log in to the yahoo app to press that button and they would play. That is no longer the case and my league will stop growing and leave to find a better more beginner friendly app.

New chat format
At least make the messages less spaced out, have a dedicated like and dislike button and have the priority for messages be new messages not popular ones.

reverse the stupid chat update.
i want to know who's idea this was... this person should be fired immediately. The new chat looks like if technology evolved backwards 15 years. the upvote and downvote functions got wiped out and replaced with stupid emojis for some reason... and why when I open a chat it opens to most popular comments instead of most recent? The most annoying part of it for sure. Why the **** would i want to read chats from weeks ago? This update was very obviously made by people who do not even use their own app. complete garbage. Fantasy Baseball
You recently changed the weather information on Fantasy Baseball that is MUCH worse than before. The former weather info included the Wind Direction and Wind Speed. That’s crucial information for baseball. The new weather is relatively useless. The recent change was NOT progress. TY

Please undo the changes
This new UI "update" is genuinely terrible. While most of the updates in the last year have made the app worse, this one is extreme. The change in comment sorting was a mistake, and the removal of dislikes is just not a good change. These need to be reverted. Listen to user feedback. It's bad.
Dislikes have not been removed. You just need to long press the "like" button and you'll have a range of reactions to choose from.

Comment Section
The new comments section without the ability to sort and without the ability to like/dislike is not a good change. Makes the chat feature much less interesting. Chat feature is one of the best things about Yahoo fantasy baseball.

Player Discussion Interface
Please change the chat back to the way it was. If I could rate the new chat interface one through five stars, I would literally give it a zero. It was absolutely perfect the way it was. I will be moving onto a new fantasy service next season if this is not resolved.

Comments need individual tally marks for 👍👎
When users make comments in the player comments section, users need to see individual tally marks for each 👍👎. Cumulative marks don't give users the polling numbers. It's not good enough to see all them grouped together as a sum. We NEED individual totals.
Also, I've / everyone has lost the ability to see reactions to our comments from any player comment section bell 🔔. I don't know where it went and can't imagine all my comments aren't getting any reactions or replies. Instead we have to go to where we made the comment and scroll to find responses.

Add stat filtering on the player pickups page
When I'm searching for players to pick up, I want to be able to filter on stats. For example, show me relief pitchers with K/9 rates above 9 and season-to-date saves about 5. This idea is not specific to fantasy baseball.

You can click on a stat category in the player pool that will filter the players from highest to lowest or lowest to highest if you click on it again.

Change midnight PST pickup time to an hour before the first game of the day
My league is spread across the US and the midnight PST pickup time is a big advantage for west coast guys who can do midnight pickups. A more fair idea someone in our league came up with is setting the "new day pickup time" to an hour before the first game of the day. That would be a more even playing field for everyone in our league.

Put RH or LH or SW next to batter name on My Team lineup page
It would be helpful to have the handedness of batters listed next to their names on the My Team lineup page. Then you can click matchup and see if they're facing a RH or LH pitcher. SW would be for switch hitters. The ability to toggle stats vs RH and LH pitchers on the same screen without going to the stat split page would make it even better. This is basic baseball lineup setting information and should be readily available.

Make it easy for us to report statistic errors, for example, Eric Sabrowski was credited with a loss and a Sv/hld in the same game yesterday
Eric Sabrowski was credited with a loss and a Save/hold in the same game yesterday 4/17/26. In reality, he only got the loss.. no save/hold. Please have the stats corrected. Love you. Robpoma

If you see an issue with scoring, you can contact us through the sports tab at help.yahoo.com.
Please note that it is also possible for a pitcher to receive a hold and a loss in the same game should he exit with the lead, only to see the runners he left on base score the tying and go-ahead runs.

Show Pitching Probables in New Calendar View on Roster page
On the roster page, it looks like there is a new calendar view to see the players upcoming opponents. While that's a nice intention, I'm not going to use it unless you show the pitching probables for that week.
Now, i do see it for today, but but my pitchers for next week.

Setup player correctly
Gary Sanchez on the Milwaukee Brewers plays Catcher and First Base But, he is only listed as Catcher. Can you update his playing positions? TY!!
Fun Game~~~~Hello,
Players changing positions can affect how you manage your team. Their positions are determined based on info from the MLB roster and past performance. Once the player has gained eligibility, they won't lose it even if they don't make additional appearances in the season.
Determine position eligibility
The number of games a player completes determines position eligibility.
- Position eligibility – 5 starts or 10 total appearances in a position.
- Pitcher eligibility – 3 starts to be a starter, or 5 relief appearances to qualify as a reliever.
Use the position eligibility countdown
The number under each position shows how many games remain until the player is eligible for that position. If an "E" appears in the column, they're already eligible to play.
- Under the "Players" tab, click Position Eligibility.
- Type the player's name into the available field.
- Click Search.
