Combine Roto and H2H
I would like to see the option to have H2H playoffs in a roto league. I would like the option to choose the playoff format for my league. The goal would be to use roto scoring to determine the top 4-6 teams as a regular season and then play head to head for the final weeks of the season for the playoffs.

I want to have a H2H Regular Season and a Roto Playoffs for the top six.

Clayton is correct. We have talked about this in our league as well. Keeps more teams involved to the end of the season. However, the draw back is teams built for ROTO and teams built for H2H can be very different. Thus if you finish first in the Regular Season (Roto) there is potential that you are at a disadvantage in the Playoffs (H2H) which isn't necessarily fair or the right way to go about it.
But fairness and debate aside, I do think Playoffs/Leagues should have more customisable options when hunting for the BEST overall way to run a fantasy baseball league and this qualifies as such.

I believe the OP is literally saying run a pure roto league for 20 weeks.
Roto Into (ignore if you know this already)
So after a 20 week season in a 12 team league the team with the highest TOTAL Home Runs will be awarded 12 points, 2nd most 11, third most 10 and so on. This is done for all the categories in the league. The points awarded to each team are summed up and that is your total points.Teams are ranked by total points and the team with the most points is declared the winner.
And we are back....
So in the OP's scenario if looks like you might have a 23 weeks season with the first 20 weeks being scored in a roto format. After those 20 weeks are done the standings are listed and the top 4/6 teams no go into a H2H format where instead of going against everyone in every category accumulating points you just go against one team with the winner advancing.
That is my take on it anyway. I had this idea a few years ago but hate H2H so i would not implement it myself but the idea is a decent one.

Isn't this Roto? Maybe explain the difference with Roto.

Every team you beat, you get a W. Every team that beats you, you get an L. Great for leagues w/ odd # of teams!! 7 team league; If you beat everyone you go 6-0 for the week. Beat half (3), you go 3-3. You get the picture. It really makes things pretty fair.

How does this work?
Do you play H2H with everyone in the league each week and just tally the amount of wins and losses that you get for that week?
