Add bats Left or Right Info to matchup ratings
I like using matchup ratings to set my lineup. However, one glaring and missing item is what side of the plate do my hitters hit from. Sometimes the best decision on who I should start comes down to left/right matchups. But while the matchup ratings tells me if a pitcher is LHP or RHP, the hitters do not. Can you add that so we don't have to click over and load a profile page for the batter to see if he bats left or right to get the right matchups? It could be easily added under the player's name in the matchup ratings or to the play info card. Thank you.

Good suggestion..
I would also like to see what defensive position he is playing because it effects the assists & put outs fantasy categories. -

Yes they are working, but some players are all screwed up...example Joc Peterson...yahoo hasn't got him right yet....someone else is being rated..

thanks for posting matchup ratings! it appear that you've pulled from a deeper pool of stats making it much more statistically significant. Appreciate that.

This would be useful and should be easy to do.

Hey I saw that there was another post about this from April that got "resolved", but I still don't have matchup ratings... Are you guys just scrapping it altogether? Because I'd like to have them back, it helps me know how batters perform against righties and lefties (i.e. Anthony Rizzo bats Left-handed, but dominates Left Handed pitching, something you wouldn't guess). Please let me know.

So it seems that you already know what you want to know without the matchup ratings, which often had the wrong matchups anyway. And they didn't tell you how a batter had fared against a certain pitcher but against pitchers LIKE that pitcher. How Gomez has fared against "right-handers in the middle tier" is far less helpful than knowing he's hitless in 12 against the specific pitcher his team is scheduled to face.

Matchup ratings have always been a great tool to help set the lineup. Splits aren't always accurate because some players fare horribly/wonderfully against certain pitchers. For example, if Carlos Gomez were in the lineup today I would be starting him against Jordan Zimmerman because based on splits it is a fine matchup. He is career 0-for-12 against Zimm though. That is good info to know. Thanks

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS THAT WE ARE IN MID JUNE AND NO MATCHUP RATINGS YET! JUST TAKE IT OFF AS AN OPTION SO WE STOP THINKING YOU ARE ACTUALLY GOING TO GET YOUR SH!T TOGETHER AND HAVE THESE AVAILABLE

It's been 6 weeks since Jake responded (May 30th) and I'm wondering who's bankrolling the "work" in progress. Congress? Obama? At the rate we're going it will be the All-Star break by the time this is up... I'd even look at last season's numbers over 5 blank stars.

What is the deal with the matchup ratings? Why on Earth are you even going to have it as a feature if you are clearly not going to make it an active one? Meanwhile, you had the Fantasy Football leagues ready to startup for the 2015 season before the NFL draft. I'd be willing to bet you have football ready from week 1. Make baseball a freaking priority. We are 60 days into the season. Its not like you didn't have a template from the previous two seasons or anything.

Yahoo really really sucks. 8 weeks into the season and STILL no matchup ratings? How does it feel to be so completely inept at your job?

I got used to the matchup ratings the last couple of years. We are now about two months into the season and at this point I have to wonder out loud what the problem is? Please make this a priority and fix it right away.

The feature is currently not working. It hasn't worked all season for baseball. Yahoo! knows about it but has not fixed it yet.

Just go to Fantrax. Yahoo doesn't care about you. They care more about fluffing up the draft room, smack talk, and stupid fantasy medals. Who's idea was fantasy medals? That person should be muzzled in the meeting room.

I guess they got so bad they removed them.
