Let traded NA or DL players go straight to open NA or DL slots
Just as you now can add a player directly to an open NA or DL slot in private leagues, you should alos be able to designate a player being traded to an open NA or DL slot without having to drop players. A simple "the player you are receiving is eligible for NA/DL slot, do you want to put him in your open slot?" yes/no question would do it. This makes the process less cumbersome.
If you have time to block a FA pickup because you've taken a player off of the DL, Then take the freakin' label off of the player. One should be connected to the other. If you can't or don't have the time to remove the label off the player then it shouldn't be changed in the system.

Please Yahoo! It says you have been "Gathering Feedback" since 2017!! Trading or adding/dropping NA players or DL players needs to be seemless! Right now you have to either drop active players and get the commish to edit rosters and it's just Nessy and looks bad to other league members when it just doesn't need to be this eay.
You are losing Dynasty and Keeper leagues because of this, guaranteed. Our league is on the verge and another league has already left for CBS.

Yes great suggestion. It is a chore to make trades involving NA players in Dynasty leagues. If the trade was agreed upon. The default setting should be to process the trade. Then have the teams adjust their rosters to make them legal again after the trade has been completed. This will eliminate the possibility of a team regretting a trade they made. Then during the trade review period adjusting their roster so that it won't go through. This happened to me last year in my dynasty league.
Came here to say this. I am trading a DL player for another DL player. Both teams had to activate the DL player and that player can not be placed back on the DL for the duration of the transaction period. That's 5 days of a useless roster spot, in my league. Why can't DL players go to open DL spots when traded?!?!?!!
With the new 10-DL teams seem to be sending more players to the DL. New DL formats would be refreshing and welcome.
My league sets a low number of player acquisitions. It helps us because we have some more active managers and some less active. We have a problem though every year, with a few teams having a large number of injuries. At the end of the season some teams have incomplete rosters for weeks to a month affecting the final outcome. We have tried adding DL slots and increasing acquisitions but the same result occurs.
I would like to see some sort of setting to allow DL only acquisitions. It could be after all other acquisitions have been used. Something in the settings you can select "Yes or No" to allow managers to drop and replace injured players after all acquisitions have been used.
