You can't have championship week occur during the final week of the (real) regular season.
Seriously. This is not real baseball. Please have championship week done before the final week of the regular season.
Hey everyone, thank you for your feedback and another great season of fantasy baseball on Yahoo. Our product and engineering teams are investigating more flexible playoff start/end dates for next season. Stay tuned!

Love the waiver bidding.

Fantasy Finals must end the week prior to the last week of the MLB season. During the last week of the MLB season, managers make lineup decisions, such as resting starters and saving pitchers for playoffs, which make fantasy managers have to guess and hope for lucky decisions. There are too many variables to consider. There are enough variables during the rest of the season; we shouldn't have to be clairvoyant.

Get rid of the Waiver Bidding, and have the playoffs, end the week before the last week of the Season, due to Teams who clinched playoffs benching players in the last week of the Season.

Move the final week up one week. You work hard to have this team set up for the fantasy playoffs & then MLB managers rest their good players knowing they're already in the playoffs.

The last week of the regular season (and starting even before that) so many players get shut down for minor injuries because their teams have been eliminated from the playoffs and there's no point in playing them anymore, which affects everyone's playoff rosters, so the final isn't a fair reflection of the team that the players have been sporting for the first ~150 games of the regular season. It just makes that final championship matchup a different thing. Make the final week the second-to-last week of the regular season.

The last week of baseball is garbage, just like the last week of football. DEAD OBVIOUS. Head to head leagues should not be able to play in the last week (or possibly even the last two).
This has cost me 3 straight years in the Final week. I got 15 ABs on the final day this year, needing 1 HR. Every player I owned was pinch hit for by the 5th inning. Needs to be changed, or give us the option.

Fully agree. I fielded 15 teams this year, 14 of which made the playoffs, 9 with first round byes. But by the championship week, my teams were practically unrecognizable. With a cap of 6 moves, I was fielding a lineup of resting and B-level players, since stars on eliminated teams were shut down and pitchers were either shut-down or innings limited.
This one is easy: do what you do for football, and end the playoffs earlier. In this case, the season should end a full TWO weeks earlier than it presently does.

Things were fine until the last week of the season. I lost half my team with pitchers shut down and teams resting players. It was a total **** shoot as to who is going to play/pitch and even if they played their playing time was decreased, especially pitchers. Not fair to build a team and not even have them in the finals.
Not make the championship week the final week of the season. Go back to two weeks and shorten the AllStar week like we had. It is not fair to anyone who has worked on building a team for the finals and they can't even use them because of teams resting their players.

Having people have extra days off destroys the competition. The championship week should definitely end the 2nd to last Sunday.
