Combining the same day and next day transactions into one to make it better for all
The issue with same day transcations is that once a player has played you cannot add/drop them. I understand the reasoning (do not want players dropping an early game player and adding a late game player to get more stats for that one position). The problem is now everyone is unable to add a player to their team until the next morning, while someone who has a player that has not played may drop/add even though they may do this hours after someone else already attempted to add that player. This is wear the combining comes into play. Keep the same day transaction for players that have not played so when guys go on the DL, bereavement, or are sent back to the minors allows managers to still fill that position that day. But add the next day transaction for players that have already played or are currently playing, so that a manager can still add/drop after a player has played. This would also be beneficial for the manager that sets his lineups in the evening/nights due to work or whatever the case may be. This is a win/win. You don't end up not being able to fill a roster spot for a day because a player goes on the DL or N/A and you don't lose out on adding/dropping a player because a player has already played and another manager's player hasn't.

Yes! Agree! Fantrax does this and it works great.

Since you already allow a manager to go ahead any nuber of days, he/she should be allowed to move people off of IL to active without rceiving an error message that he has played already. It prevents you from making changes for the days going forward. For example. Turner is coming off the IL. I tried to move him into an active position, but could not because I was over my roster limit. So I tried dropping a player that played. You can't do it. This forces you to wait for the next day. So what's the good of allowing you to go to the next day if they don't accept it. People get up in the morning and have to go to work and take care of kids etc. It just makes no sense. CBS is weekly and still allows you to make forward changes. Fantrax does also in its daily leagues. I just don't get it. Your system is archaic.

Couldn't agree more, was about to submit this myself. Other providers are already ahead of Yahoo in this area, would be an easy change for the better. Please make it happen!

If combining doesn't work, at least give managers the option of choosing either/or. The sheer luck of guessing who is playing the next day (especially at Catcher) vs. the skill of staying informed on lineups is annoying. I want to play in public money leagues with same day adds.
