Change default scoring settings from saves to save plus holds
Fewer baseball managers use one relief pitcher to close out games. More often, the best reliever is being used in the highest leverage situation, whether it is the 9th inning or not. Some relievers are the best on their team but are not used to close out games because real life teams want to utilize those relievers when it matters the most.

Both of my suggestions are for public leagues.
It is way past time that the default category to saves be changed to saves+holds. It gets so tiring seeing people like Wade Davis drafted and rostered, while Ryan Pressly sits on the waiver wire, even while Pressly is a far superior pitcher to Davis. It would really open up the player pool and allow us all to simply pick the best reliever, instead of trying to figure out day-to-day if someone is the closer and then potentially rostering a bum, just because he has been chosen by the manager.
My second suggestion has to do with implementing an innings minimum for roto leagues. Yahoo has one of these for head-to-head, but not roto, and I don't know why. It is badly needed now that more and more people are implementing the Marmol strategy, which just completely destroys a league. In one of my public leagues this year, an owner drafted three RPs and 20 hitters. That has severely drained the hitter pool, and he has a bunch of guys sitting on his bench that are now useless to him. In addition, it is a very effective strategy and he has a real chance of winning the league based simply off that strategy and not any actual knowledge of what's happening. I find that, from looking through fantasy baseball forums, more and more people are implementing this strategy. And it will completely kill fantasy baseball if IP minimums are not implemented. Please do this for the public leagues.
