Covid Players MUST be IL Eligible!
Covid players must be eligible for the IL! This is not fair to league owners to have to drop players because we can't shelf them on the IL. Especially in keeper leagues where the bigger picture has to be considered.
Right now covid players are not eligible for the IL spots. This is a major problem.

Hello Tom,
Thank you for your feedback.
Players with the Covid-19 designation have been updated and can now be placed in the IL roster spot. We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience while we got this resolved.
Thanks,

Agreed. COVID players need to be IL eligible.

Absolutely agree. MLB is designating COVID players as IL but Yahoo is using the special COVID-19 designation. Please fix this! Thank you

Here's the main problem as I see it: if the player going on IL is willing to make the COVID positive result public, then that player is on the COVID-IL and a manager is unable to do anything except hold that player in active roster spot. If the player decides that the COVID result should NOT be made public, then the player is on regular IL and can get moved to an IL spot by the manager. Example: Hunter Dozier vs Nomar Mazara

It definitely creates an unnecessary complication. Perhaps they can be designated as NA to be used in those slots (much like when players go on paternity leave). Not sure how to best deal with this in short order other than the NA designation.
Either IL / NA could be problematic because of limited spots but it's the right move.

Couldn't agree more - this is a serious flaw in the Yahoo game that needs to be resolved.
